We Filipinos know that Camay is been a legendary soap brand here in the Philippines, featuring beauty queens and pretty Filipina models as the faces of Camay. This brand is well known to represent simple beauty, not so-hideous but gives confidence to every user, long before these whitening and gluta-soaps that we have nowadays. This year as the maker Procter & Gamble Philippines launched its re-branded Camay, with its newest model (Angelica Panganiban) - these beautiful soaps are now in every market and beauty store. It's now available everywhere, with its colorful packaging. I have to test it myself if these will give me what they always promised on television commercials.
I've been using these for a month, alternating these three variants. These three variants (Romantique Rose, Creme Vanilla with Coconut, and Dynamique Grape Fruit) have very good scents, that you can buy in an individually pocket-sized, just Php15.00 each but, in my experience using them, these candy-colored beauty soaps are not for me. Yes, they gave me freshly good scents of rose after the bath but make my skin dry and sticky. Sometimes when I sweat after a bath, makes me feel itchy! The packaging is very attractive to our eyes, which makes most of us grab and buy it. Anyway, I may say that these Camay soaps can be your 'emergency soap' during your weekend travel getaway, especially if you don't like your resort's soap.
For you ladies that already tried Camay and feels very good on you, then you are lucky enough - but not for me. But still, it's economical :)
