J Fashion Show founder and fashion model Jessica Minh Anh will transform the Grand Canyon Skywalk into a 4,000f foot high catwalk. As unusual as this sounds, the UK-based entrepreneur and model is known for her penchant for hosting catwalks at the unlikeliest venues possible including; London’s Tower Bridge; Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge; and the Seine River in Paris.
The forthcoming J Autumn Fashion Collection is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2013, the event, which will be filmed from helicopters and televised worldwide on the same day, will feature both ready-to-wear and haute couture collections from designers belonging to more than 20 countries.
Minh Anh said, “The Grand Canyon is one of America’s most stunning landscapes and so I want to showcase this against cutting edge fashion. I hope this inspires people.”
Owned by the Grand Canyon Resort Corp., Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and a major tourist attraction in Arizona. The sky-high glass bridge has attracted thousands of visitors since it opened in 2007.
