Let's get down to Business
As a fashion and lifestyle blogger, I am enjoying attending various events that will help to enhance my skills and knowledge (not only into blogging about fashion and everything lifestyle) but also to learn additional knowledge from the expert speakers, and also to meet new contacts that I can add to my current network. I've been used to attending corporate events (such as conventions, seminars and trade shows) and one thing that I've learned about is to dress appropriately. It doesn't need to be too formal, but business like and comfortable so you easily move around, especially you were there to mingle.
This year's Asian Publishing Convention held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel is very rewarding. I've met with famous publishers from different delegate countries and even publishers based here in the Philippines, sharing ideas about the modernization of the publishing industry, and how the digital world affects them (positive and negative effects). At the end of the day, after all the meetings and discussions comes a boozing cocktails with style :)
