The whole place was transformed into an elegant room decorated in black with multi level platforms where the tables were all set in black as well. The women came in their finest gowns and the men looked dashing in their tuxedos. Even though the event was a formal one, there was a casual vibe among the guests, where in you would see friends hopping from one table to the other and having a grand time.
The evening's program began with an auction hosted by Tim Yap and Tessa who were so much fun to watch as they encouraged everyone to bid for the items such as a Lancel bag, Tumi luggages, a trip to Balesin, a trip to Bali, Jewelmer Pearls that made the women stand up and take notice of the exquisite jewellery that was up for bidding. Some of the winning bidders were Paolo Prieto, Jean Henri Lhuillier and Derek Ramsay. The proceeds of the auction will go to the relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake in Bohol and Cebu.
The main event of the evening was the fashion show of Ezra Santos presented by Bench. Ezra is a Filipino designer based in Dubai who is known for masterful cutting and precision tailoring, soft, refined embroidery and embellishments. His creations have been worn by Arab and European nobility. The show was directed by Ariel Lozada, styled by Noel Manapat with hair and make up by Patrick Rosas. The clothes were intricately made with beadwork fit for royalty and the 37 piece collection was couture heaven. Ezra and Bench truly proved that Pinoy fashion is world class .
