Winning a Miss Universe pageant endows the winner with one of the most coveted title of course, along with a dazzling crown, million dollar perks as well as social duties. The Miss Universe 2013 title holder, Gabriela Isler, has also seized the opportunity to don the unique million dollar swimsuit.
Created by the Italian swimwear and lingerie brand Yamamay, this Million Dollar Swimsuit for Miss Universe has been entirely hand-built with 900 precious gems like diamonds, emeralds and rubies, valued almost 200 carat. Worth $1 million and made in collaboration with the Dinacci jewelers, this costume is also crowned as one of the most expensive swimsuit.
The 25 year old winner slid in to this bejeweled swimsuit just a day after she was crowned at her first official photo shoot and in front of the international press corps, during a press conference at the Crowne Plaza World Trade Centre in Moscow. Gabriela Isler modestly compares the costume with her own self stating, “It’s very simple but very elegant, so it’s like me.”
The spectacular swimsuit has traveled along with armed guards from Milan, Italy to Moscow, Russia for this global event, which took place at Crocus City Hall November 9th .
