The preliminary schedule for New York Fashion Week has been released, and it looks like IMG's plan to make the calendar less hectic is working.
Just over 80 shows have been added the the official lineup, and they've been arranged so that none of the big shows have conflicting time slots. This is helped in large part by the new venues IMG has added to its Lincoln Center location and by a few designers who have decided to show off site this season.
Notable departures from Lincoln Center include Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, and Michael Kors. While Kors hasn't released the location of his show yet, von Furstenberg will follow Calvin Klein to Spring Studios.
