A non-alcoholic, low calorie beverage would not be your ideal pick to raise a toast with the love of your life, this Valentine’s Day. But if the same is encased in a limited edition can designed by one of the most sensational lingerie designer from France, it calls for a double celebration. Diet Coke has roped in Chantal Thomass to dress up its can in limited numbers to celebrate Valentine’s Day in France.
Adding her signature touch to the can, Chantal has decked it up with black lace and a heart-shaped ribbon pattern. She reminds her, as well as Diet Coke, fans that everybody and everything can be attractive and seductive, if intended. Chantal Thomass is captured by Ellen von Unwerth posing with her Diet Coke can.
Playing the role of Diet Coke’s artistic director for 2014, the exclusive Valentine Day’s can will hit the French shores in early February. So the rest of the world can just drool over the images of this seductive edition while sipping on to their sugar-free drink.
And if you are seriously keen to celebrate the special day with a special edition of Diet Coke, then simply buy a small strip of black ribbon and some bits of black lace. Along with some glue, dress up your can such that it bears resemblance to Chantal’s edition. The DIY idea sounds good and will appeal with a personal touch too!
This isn’t the first time Diet Coke has been given a designer makeover. We have already seen Jean Paul Gaultier, Diane von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs design limited edition Diet Coke bottles.
