Comfort food is something we never pass up and it's always better when someone else does the cooking. Remember your mother's roast chicken or mac and cheese, or waffles in bed on a hangover day? Well Harlan Goldstein has brought this to you with added cool factor, impeccable recipes and great atmosphere at his new LKF destination, Comfort. The menu is extensive and includes a mixture of dishes that spans from Italian to Indian inspired recipes. Harlan drew inspiration from his travels, friends, and even his wife's homemade curry. We loved the perfectly roasted chicken that would be ideal for any weekend lunch, slow cooked fall off the bone Duroc ribs, well seasoned and fresh truffled steak tartare, and their warm waffles with nutella ice cream. We also hear his version of HK's ever popular dish, the "bao," can compete with the best in the city. We can't wait to visit the buzzing spot again and sample more of what Comfort has in store.
