Have you done your Christmas shopping yet? Right in time for the festive season, Victoria Beckham has launched a limited-edition nail-polish collection with Nails Inc. Inspired by the Spring Summer 2015 Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection, this season’s most covetable nail colors will prelaunch on nailsinc.com starting on Monday. The VB nail paints will also hit the shelves of the stores in February 2015.
The 40 year old fashion designer has marked her entry in the world of beauty with two exclusive nail shades. WWD reports that the collection comprises of a classic hue called Bamboo White and a tomato red, named Judo Red, which matches her Japanese-inspired spring collection. The fashion icon has also added her unique signature by opting for matte white and black bottles over the traditional clear bottles of the England-based nail bar chain. Designed by top art director Fabien Baron and customized by Victoria Beckham, the bottles sport a matching cap and a side window that gives a clear picture of the nail color.
Moreover, the collaboration also features a formulation called Stretch to Fit, which is inspired by the dresses in Beckham’s spring collection. Given the clothing’s Japanese influence, Nails Inc. added bamboo extract to strengthen nails. Along with adding color to the nails, the collection is tweaked to nourish them too.
Victoria Beckham also spoke about her interest in the beauty market, “I have a strong eye and a strong opinion. So, when the time is right, I would love to do [more] beauty [projects in the future].”
