Mabuhay Germany is the biggest German-Philippine event in the country, a blend of business, culture and fun-filled family activities. This year's motto is "Connect Now!", and that is what it is all about: connecting business people with potential partners, distributors with customers, and - last not least - Germans and Filipinos.
As every year, various German institutions team up to offer exciting activities, delicious food, useful information, lots of fun - and beer, of course.
The activities include a fun run around Bonifacio High Street, a Table Soccer Cup, and the "Connect-O-lympics" - games to strengthen teamwork and foster inter-cultural communication and exchanges. Mabuhay Germany will also feature the latest highlights in German engineering that have recently become available in the Philippine Market. A business fair with dozens of exhibitors showcases quality products from shoes and kitchen utensils to trucks and renewable energy. Some of Manila's finest German-style restaurants, bars and bakeries will be serving mouthwatering delicacies: Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, Turkish-German "Döner Kebap", traditional pastries - and, of course, German beer.
And if all these things create a strong to desire to visit, live in, work in or study in Germany - there will also be forums and information exchanges as well as a presentation of Germany's unique educational concept of an Dual Training, a success story currently being exported to various countries across the world.
The soundtrack for the weekend will be provided by different DJs, the Executive Band, and The Authority, and others.
Mabuhay Germany is organized by the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) together with the German Embassy, Goethe Institut Manila, and the German European School Manila (GESM).
