Yves Saint Laurent's Spring 2016 Makeup Collection

With its new collection, Boho Stones, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté presents a hippie-laced imagining for spring

There's nothing that says boho spring more than a topless Edie Campbell lounging about on marble and looking absolutely gorgeous.

We kid.

We love the new Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Boho Stones collection because the colours are a fresh take on pastel greens and pinks, proving that lighter shades don't have to be all cotton candy-ish, but can look strong and sexy.

Ladies, here's your entire festival makeup in one neat collection.

Highlights include the Couture Palette Collector in Indie Jaspe. Pale green, sage and peach can take the eyes from innocent gypset to glamorous boho babe depending on the colours you pick and where you apply them.

Want more drama?

Add more of the sage green on your crease and blend for a smoked out effect. The face palette meanwhile might have shades that look like puzzling at first glance, but each subtly enhances different aspects of the face. Use the light green to reduce redness on the face, the pink for a healthy glow and the gold for some night time radiance.

(Clockwise): Couture Palette Collector in Indie Jaspe, $105, Face Palette Collector in Gypsy Opale, $95 and Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils in Bohemian Pink and Hippie Green, $55 each

If blush is your thing, you'll be pleased to know that YSL has taken their technology for the Encre de Peau foundations and translated it to a collection of blushers. These 'ink' blushers gives a fresh burst of colour on the cheeks that lasts till the evening — perfect for battling balmy weather and sweaty concert surroundings. Best of all it feels weightless on the skin, so you won't even realize its on. Pick from four fresh shades — Spicy Vibes — a tomato orange is our personal fave.

Fusion Ink Blush in Spicy Vibes, Pink Attraction, Electric Red and Edgy Berry, $50 each

Finally what's Spring without some serious nail shades? Iridescent pastels are it for YSL, giving an edge to these pale shades. These opalescent lacquers will look seriously sexy on your pedicure when paired with your gladiator lace-ups. Paint them on and go paint the town red.

La Laque Couture the Opalescents in Peace Green and Love Pink, $38 each

From $38-$105. At Yves Saint Laurent Beauté stores and counters
