Decades ago, being a "geek" is someone who you just bumped on the hallway that you don't care about, but on the contrary (and undeniably) you superhero during your examination days.
They are passionate and creative individuals, who also don't care less about what they wear because they know exactly that they are rocking their works.
But let's face it, being a geek (in whatever industry-geeky you are) is something cool, right?
Those poking days are over because in the digital era, being a geek is AWESOME!!!
Besides, being upper smart is hot and sexy... and based on my experience....great in bed!
But hey.. wait! This seems like more of an eyewear party!!!
Check out this fashion-geeky inspiration from the recent #ImAPreviewGeek ball hosted by Preview Magazine.
#ImAPreviewGeek too! But I didn't party :D
I was busy writing and creating my post for your ladies, LOL
xoxo, Blair

ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting, so you are a sweetheart :D
DeleteI think you could've partied a little bit though :)
ReplyDeleteLovely post and you look ravishing!
Thank you dear!
DeleteThis is so great! You guys really know how to rock your geeky style and I think lots of women look fantastic in glasses and the nerdy look.
ReplyDeleteno reason to wear boring reading glasses, coz glasses is also cool!
DeleteLooks like a fun party! I love how "geek" is just the mainstream now and really not a thing to be embarrassed about! Anyone can wear whatever fashion they want and rock it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Let's Rock this geeky partay :D
DeleteCute :D I love wearing my glasses, it makes me feel quirky and cute. There are some awesome frames in this post - I love that bigger ones are coming in style :)
ReplyDelete...I also found out that the classics are coming back and they look fantastic :D
DeleteI'm not sure if the geeky style woods suit me, I'm more a rock chick, but, I have to say that I love the looks I see here, and especially the glasses too! And, that amazing pearl necklace! Karen
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! It's been with me for years. And I love it!
DeleteI've been on the nerdy/geeky side all my life, but honestly, never felt like an outcast for any of it. I think geeky girls have always had it just a bit easier than geeky boys. That said, geek is just one of the many labels we wear. It only speaks of some of our interests. It doesn't help or prevent us in any other endeavors (unless we talk about choosing a geeky career).
ReplyDeleteThen again, as a long time reader of a blog called geeks are sexy, I do get your point! And I agree that being smart, in any way, geeky or not, has always been extremely appealing to the right kind of people.
...or we can always pimp our geeky side, as long as we are happy, I'll support!
DeleteWow I love the looks, certainly it is true that people like us who were born in the digital era have some geeky traits and that can be something to play with when choosing an outfit
ReplyDeleteOne of my friend here says, "Teach / allow your child to be geeky, so they won't have money to buy drugs"... kind-of funny at first, but it makes sense.
