When Feminine Meets Utilitarian

Marysia Swim Resort Collection, bikini fashion, latest swimwear trends

I always think that every day, 365 days it is always SUMMER.

Because just like a true-blue summer babe, it is the only time that I would like to enjoy dressing up, to wear most of the seasons newest styles (or get some inspirations, because I personally can’t afford to wear the latest collection, thus DIY-ing is my solution) go to the best summer destinations, wearing those cute swimwear just like the latest Marysia Swim Resort Collection.

Gone with the days for those skimpy bikinis ala-Kardashians.

Welcome to the new swimwear – feminine and utilitarian.

That swimwear with lots of strings? Sheer fabrics, and too slutty (just like what our Aunties-usual comments) please, please toss it.

Cute designs in neutral shades are the latest trend that hugs very feminine to the body and really accentuate the desired curves.

This season it's about: Classic silhouettes delicately made interesting with lace-up accents, scalloped edges, and slit trims.

What makes me so likey about this collection is that you can easily part these with your other summer clothes. That bikini top can be paired with your usual summer capri shorts, or a feminine skirt either a maxi-skirt will do. This collection is something that you will treasure because its designs last for all summer season. Something that is worth investing.

I could imagine wearing this piece and still accentuates my curves and (assets) and still look like a bombshell, without the need of showing too much skin. Modesty is the newest trend in fashion, and Marysia Swim perfectly shows that.

I like those simple cut-outs and scallop designed – just like a modern mermaid sitting in under the palm trees and drinking tropical fruities.

My personal favorite? The pink one-piece with side cut-outs.

xoxo, Blair

  5. Wow they are all very cute in their own way. I would love a two piece but I'm on the border of I'm outgrown it, not comfortable in it or not yet (but maybe this year). I do like all the edges of the suits and the ties. Great colors as well. This year I'm getting a new suit but I don't know what yet!

  7. At first glance I thought this was underwear. The pieces are so delicate looking. I like the black one piece, although I'd be afraid of my boob popping out. Ugh. I would be completely mortified. LOL!!!
