Why I Wouldn’t Buy that Beauty-Blogger-Beauty-Blender-Condom Hack and You Shouldn't too
Hello Girlfriends!

Warning: Another very honest, almost no filter post.

Have you seen the beauty-blender-condom hack by some beauty bloggers online?

These past few days, I got so confused and really almost puke when these got trending to my social media feed.

The first thing that comes in my mind is …WHAT THE F*CK?!

Yes, and that is my reaction – not only I felt disgusted with this tutorial / hack, and because I felt disgusted to these beauty gurus who teaches their viewers and readers inappropriateness.

For all those who haven’t seen it – type the keyword “beauty blogger condom” on your Google and you’ll see. I won’t put the link here because I find it inappropriate. However, I will let you discover that tutorial.

 Beauty-Blogger-Beauty-Blender-Condom Hack

As a fellow beauty blogger and influencer, I feel responsible to every content that I’ve been sharing online – including to all my social media accounts. Every content are well researched, and I always considers my readers and viewers possible reaction (and putting myself in their shoes) before finalizing and publishing each contents.

And as an influencer, it is my responsibility to share accurate information, that are relatable and can be use and apply by my readers. Creating contents just for the purpose of getting an overnight fame and number of views and follows, are not the #1 purpose why I created this blog.

To share quality information and help to educate and spread awareness are the main purpose why this blog exist, and I will continue to do so, as long as my readers are happy.

That’s why no matter how many times I viewed that beauty-blender-condom-hack, I still don’t understand the main purpose of those beauty bloggers in sharing that disgusting hack.

Seriously, I don’t know what the fuck is in their minds while doing this stupid hack!

Here’s what I do understand: Me and the online community shares the same sentiments.

First, are these beauty bloggers teaching their viewers to save $$$ on beauty-blenders?

Then what’s the purpose of that beauty blender per se? Are those super expensive, and with the same value as the latest Chanel handbag, just for you to teach viewers to treasure it most?

Beauty blenders are there to be used and to be disposed after certain you’ve used it for many times.

Beauty blenders are sponges, just like your home cleaning sponges that needs to be disposed after so many times of usages.

Second, are these beauty bloggers teaching their viewers use things inappropriately?

Sponges are made for cleaning. Beauty-blender sponges are made for convenient make-up blending.

Condoms are used for protection during sexual encounters.

Isn’t these simple purposes not clear?

This video clip compiled by Cosmopolitan even gained 1.5M of views.

No matter how they said its “GENIUS IDEA” to use condom for beauty-blender – I still feel so disgusted and I would never recommend you to try.

There are many crazy tutorials / hacks that works on you, but shouldn’t be shared on public.

Just keep it you yourself, will you?!

Why I Wouldn’t Buy that Beauty-Blogger-Beauty-Blender-Condom Hack and You Shouldn't too

Am just so thankful that I’ve haven’t seen (yet) beauty bloggers from the East who does and follow this beauty hack. Or many because here in the Eastern part of the globe, we are taught about the regular cleanliness – in all aspects of life, including all the things that we love and possess.

We definitely know how to save $$$ and be a cheapskate, but never to the extent that we use crazy tutorials like this just to save.

This is not a high quality tutorial – this kind of tutorial teaches viewers to use oddly methods that are inappropriate in all aspects.

Silicon sponge from Korean cosmetics RiRe

If you like to save more $$$ on your beauty blender and also easy to cleanse, why not use this silicon-sponge?

Or learn the skills to properly use make-up brushes and call it a day.

I would really appreciate that video tutorial if it teaches viewers the proper use of condom for protection – which I will call social awareness and definitely I will applaud them.

Use condom for protection and not for your make-up hacks

Yes I use condom for my personal-super-intimate-use and NOT FOR MY MAKEUP!

(.. and if you want to know more about this department, you can email me).

I would prefer sharing valuable sex education for social awareness purposes, than share some ohh so stupid hacks that would mislead my readers.

And I treat this platform not only as my medium for information sharing, but also a business platform and my online portfolio.

Use condom for protection and not for your make-up hacks

Use condom for protection and not for your make-up hacks. Period.

Any thoughts?

xoxo, Blair

If your sponge is that gross that you need to put plastic over it - just throw it out and get a new one. If you're that mad over the amount of product you waste by using a sponge, then use something else! It's not that hard to figure out. You don't need a "hack" like this!
