Beauty Now & Next Matte Nude Swatches + Review

Beauty Now & Next Matte Nude Swatches + Review
Have you heard about this beauty brand called Beauty Next & Now?

Based on my research (thanks for constant googling), this brand is under the trademark of American beauty brand Jacky and Lauren, Inc. based in New York City.

I’ve done my weekly grocery shopping, when I decided to pass on beauty department at Market Market mall. With no intention of buying other stuffs because wasn’t in the mood, however my mood changed when I spotted these lippies.

It was simple packaged in a sealed box, which contains five (5) pieces of Beauty Now and Next matte nude liquid lipstick, each are in 10ml container.

Yes I was tempted to buy because these lipsticks are being sold for Php399.00 (approx. $)

For the price and its promising look, I am completely sold and made me swiped my card.

Am not used to wearing liquid lipsticks. Most of my lipsticks are in bullet form, which I find them convenient and practical.

However, I am curious about these brand!

Same as the most liquid lipsticks brand, these brand have decent lipstick wand and a nice tip that is now smudgy or cakey.

They all have one scent – smells like a creamy caramel and vanilla! For some you might think it smells like vanilla.

Hhmmm smells yummy!

But, you won’t taste any caramel or vanilla – NO TASTE AT ALL.

And here’s my swatches!!!

Each shades have no specific shade labels, so I put a liberty of just numbering them during my swatch session.

The solution is easy to glide to my skin and lips, and dries quickly after 2-minutes, which is ideal so you still have time to evenly glide it on your lips perfectly.

As I have said, there is no taste, although they smell like caramel + vanilla. Once I applied it on my skin and lips, the scents disappear.

I got so excited to play them around, and realized that these lippies can also work as concealer and eyeshadows due to its high pigmentation.

It stays on my lips even after I drink water, tea or coffee.

In order to remove these lippies, I’m using Biore Oil-based makeup remover or my Pond’s cold cream. But you have to thoroughly massage it to remove it completely, or use a scrub and rub it on your skin with make-up removers.

But when I removed it using my Camia Rooibos Cleansing Water from Althea Korea, OMG! It is easily removed in just 2-swipes!

That’s how powerful they stay on my skin!

Here am wearing the shade No.3 with Blush Color. What do you think?

These matte liquid lipsticks are sold for Php399.00 for 5 pieces which is a good deal!

Also a perfect gift for your girlfriends :D

So if you are visiting Taguig City, you might want to drop-by at Market Market Mall and grab these babies.

  1. I like all the colors. I have a combination of liquid lipstick and bullets as you called them. It's interesting they don't have names.

  5. I'm loving the colors! Do they wick the moisture away from your lips, though? That's my one drawback from using matte lippies.

    1. Hello Karyn,

The moisturizer helps to keep the matte lipstick stay on, and not too dry.

  6. Great review, I love all the nude and pink shades! It's awesome that they're so long-wearing as well, because most liquid lipsticks don't stay on that long:) Thanks for sharing!
