Having a reliable smartphone that could capture those exciting moments vividly is totally a must!
So I got curious about this newest Vivo model, and see whether it could pass on my taste and daily social media and blogging needs.
Vivo, a young leading global smartphone brand, today celebrated the launch of its latest product, V7+, across Asia following its successful debut in India last September 7, and following its launch party in the Philippines last September 20 at Marriott Hotel Manila, and a launch party today happening at Pavillion, KL in Malaysia.
Designed with young people and young professionals in mind, it features industry's first 24MP front facing camera with LED flash, together with a FullView™ Display. The V7+ is Vivo's latest example of its commitment to empowering users with self-expression and captures memories through cutting edge technologies.
Since its first entry into the international markets in 2014, Vivo has dedicated itself to understanding the needs of consumers through in-depth research with the aim of bringing to market innovative and stylish products that meet their lifestyle and needs.
The Vivo V7+ 24MP front-facing camera and the FullView™ Display allows the new generation consumers, who are media savvy and self-expressive, to take clearer selfies and perfect shots, truly expressing themselves and capturing important memories, in every angle, anytime, anywhere.
As a brand that embodies youthful energy, joy and innovation as its brand attributes, Vivo became the official smartphone sponsor of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup™, continuing efforts to bring vivid and inspiring experiences to connect young people around the world through sports. In 2015, Vivo was the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In 2016, Vivo started a strategic partnership with NBA China as its Official Mobile Handset Sponsor, inviting NBA superstar Stephen Curry to become the product ambassador for Vivo's flagship Xplay6.
For initial glance, I may say that the latest Vivo V7+ have pretty impressive features, incorporated from various leading high-end smartphones in the market. Their latest hottest feature is the enhancement of its selfie feature making it more vivid and interactive, even having a pretty selfie look while having a video call.
This latest offering from Vivo has the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) and runs on Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Moreover, it rocks a Smart Split 3.0 feature, allowing users to check their messages, mails, among other things without interrupting the current running app. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM + 64 GB of ROM expandable to up to 256GB. The security feature is also augmented with its face ID access feature that allows one to unlock the phone with mere facial recognition. An eye-protection mode is also an option, a facet providing comfort and protection during longish phone usage.
Who needs a cosmetic surgery if you can have your photos and video look flawless using Vivo V7Plus!
At this price Php17,990 that is pretty cheaper compared to surgery which will cost you doubled of that (or more!), plus the downtime period.
Vivo V7+ will be available in Champagne Gold and Matte Black. Next month it will be available on-hand on Lazada Philippines.
Could be a perfect holiday gift, in my opinion.
xoxo, Blair
The Vivo V7+ seems like a fabulous phone. I take lots and lots of photos with my present phone so I really need to check into this one!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure when is the launch in countries outside Asia, but it is promising. Well, I do hope Vivo Philippines will send me a unit for my review. LOL
DeleteI think it's really funny how phones are now taking into consideration our narcissistic tendencies - LMFAO! I mean, I guess it's great that we all seem to really love ourselves? lol!
ReplyDeleteI know right!
DeleteI guess as long as there is a huge market that truly have that self-love, then many products just like this Vivo phones will continue to please the market.
It sounds like it's a great phone for the younger generation, which is all about snapchat and selfies. They do need a bright screen in order to take and share great selfies with their friends.
ReplyDeleteI know right!
DeleteThere is am enhanced beauty mode, where in your can manipulate to make you look prettier during video chat. Crazy!
That launch looks like a lot of fun! I love Marriott hotels. I'm will be in the market for a new phone in a few weeks, so I will check this one out. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteHope you will like it Tonya. And the cost is not that pricey.
DeleteI'm guessing that this is a brand that's only available in Asia? Is there an equivalent on the US Market?
ReplyDeleteYes it will be available soon outside Asia. I guess they will just wait for few weeks because the iPhone X was just launch in US and EU.
DeleteSounds like a nice phone.I like that it can fix my selfies so I look awesome.
ReplyDeleteI know right! And this phone have face-detector to unlock your phone!
DeleteLaunch party looked like a huge success! Never heard of vivo before but looks like a really great product!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great phone to have! Can you belive it, before the one I have now I never had any handy! So I have been using one since 2014...and I just started to use one because it was a gift. Now I am so addicted!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I bet you'll going to enjoy this new Vivo V7+
DeleteI think I would enjoy the features of the t Vivo V7+. It looks like a fun launch kick off for it. I always love events and staying at the Mariott.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about Marriott. I bet you will enjoy this new phone! If you are a gamer, this phone promises awesome gaming experience.
DeleteI am in the market for a new phone. I would love a new color and more memory and great pictures
ReplyDeleteThat's cool, this is perfect!
DeleteThis looks like a spectacular launch party! I'll take that vehicle please. ;) And a drink.
ReplyDeleteHahaha yeah I like this car! The champagne is not good though.
DeleteThe Vivo v7 sounds like a great phone! I'm actually in search of a new one at the moment. Will it be available in the US soon?
ReplyDeleteYes it will, I'll be updating this post when I got the final schedule of US and EU launch.
DeleteWow their launch looks so grand! Wish I was invited as well 🙈 Got to check it out now! =D
ReplyDeleteCheck the Vivo phones! They just launch it yesterday in KL.
DeleteWoah!!! Got Face Beauty Mode. Its really perfect for selfie :)
ReplyDeleteExactly and its crazy!
DeletePersonally, I haven't tried VIVO yet. Thanks for the post. I'm eager to check it out.
ReplyDeleteWho knows, maybe Vivo V7Plus will be your next foodie-bitch for your food photography.
DeleteWow, the launch in Manila is very impressive. In Malaysia, it was launched at Pavillion.
ReplyDeleteI agree. But honestly watching the KL launch, made me think that the KL launch is much better, because they held it in a much brighter space. The venue in Marriott was so deemed it hard to test the phone for daylight.
DeleteA champagne gold phone sounds great. Otherwise I buy a phone and then have to find something to cover it up with.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I want to see the champagne gold, however it wasn't available during the launch.
DeleteLooks like even my country will have almost similar launch party for the phone. Or it will be just a speech about the phone. But I heard the phone is coming to our country. Just let me know price so i can convert into INR.
ReplyDeleteHello Dear,
DeleteActually they firstly launched it in India last month (I think).
Looks like a very trendy phone. I recently bought a new one and I still haven't discovered everything it can do.
ReplyDeleteOh you should check this phone too!
DeleteEveryone seems to up their game in upgrading the phone's spec - makes me confuse whether to wait for iPX or not haha
ReplyDeleteHave you heard about the news that no one have wait-in-line for the launch of iPhone X?
DeleteWow this launching is just like some fashion runaway! Very fancy indeed.
ReplyDeleteHahaha thanks you Rina!
DeleteThat prism walkway though...it's lit af! And..you are making me regret my new phone..T.T but even with 16mp you can see all the holes and pimples clearly...i can only imagine what does 24mp does...basically no one has to carry around a camera no more...
ReplyDeleteYou better check this phone in KL babe! Its crazy!
DeleteNow this sounds like such an amazing launch party and the phone sounds amazing, I could really do with upgrading myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Sarah. Yeah you should consider Vivo phone :)
DeleteVivo launches good phones Everytime and a phone with 4Gb ram and 64gb ROM will be super fast .
ReplyDeleteI know right! I guess it will be exciting to capture more photos and videos as well.
DeleteI am very impressed by the quality shots from its front camera. I like how it can pan the background, blur and do so much more, such as beauty mode for video calls (Yay!). Of course, Vivo knows how important that the front camera is of high resolution, not only the back! The price is just nice in Malaysia: RM1499.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! Will you be getting one this time?
DeleteVery cool! It's nice to know there's an alternative to Apple. This looks like such a fun party!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Apple is so pricey and its crazy!
DeleteLooks like a fun time and a nice phone. Not sure if it's available here in the US or at least in my rural area but if it were, I might be interested. Richard B
ReplyDeleteIt will be available soon!
DeleteThis sounds like a pretty great phone! A 24MP camera is impressive, I think my phone just has a 12MP one
ReplyDeleteI bet with 24MP, I don't need a magnifying lens to view my pores!
DeleteWhat an incredible phone, loving the new features for sure, we are a young generation obsessed with taking selfies and/or changing up our selves now we just need this phone
ReplyDeleteThanks Anosa,
DeleteThis phone is very promising for the narcissistic humans like me :) hahaha
What a fun looking party! The photographer in me would go crazy. This phone looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Tamara! Some might set aside their DSLR for this phone.
DeleteI have never heard of Vivo. But I will have to check this out when I'm getting my new phone.
ReplyDeleteYou must Cecilia!
DeleteYou might be the first stylish blogger to own a Vivo in your city :)
WOW! This looks as though it is a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun, however the Malaysia launch seems more fantastic!
DeleteThis is such a cool phone oh my! I am going to have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteWow a selfie-centric phone! That's a game changer :) If I was not so heavily-invested in Apple (have purchased too many apps in the app store to switch to Google Play Store), I would seriously consider buying this phone!
ReplyDeleteHey Milton, will you be upgrading to iPhone X very soon?
DeleteI like the concept of this new phone! Manilla is one of those cities that I'd love to see! Mariott hotels have always delivered, when it comes to service, cleanliness of the rooms and the overall beauty of the hotels
ReplyDeleteThat is great! Please visit Manila soon :)
DeleteThat is so cool that you got to go to a phone-launch event! I currently love, and use my Google Pixel. Waiting for the 2 to come out in a few weeks :)

Wow, what an impressive launch party! Sounds like a great phone. I love that you can take flawless photos.
ReplyDeleteyeah and its fun! Hope they could gift me a sample unit ahahaha
DeleteI used to work for a mobile company in the UK, and went to a lot of phone launch parties. But none of them were as fun as this looks! x
ReplyDeleteHello Becca,
DeleteMay I ask how Lonndoners do a mobile launch?
This is awsome! I'd totally stay here if I'm ever in Manilla

ReplyDeleteWow...Looks like a very trendy phone. I recently bought a new one and I still haven't discovered everything it can do.
What phone did you bought?
Delete
ReplyDeleteWow...Looks like a very trendy phone. I recently bought a new one and I still haven't discovered everything it can do.
This looks like a great phone and also, a perfect gift for my brother. I hope it is sold in India too. :)
ReplyDeleteHello Mayuri,
DeleteYeah it will be available in India starting this October!
I swear you always get invited to the coolest events I am jealous! That smartphone has an incredible camera as well you must have loved the Vivo! x
ReplyDeleteHahaha thank you Ana!
DeleteActually, I never tried using Vivo phone, This is the first time I attended their party. I'm using a ASUS and Huawei P9 phones :)
If Vivo Philippines will be generous enough to send me a unit, I would gladly accept and use it!
I've never heard of Vivo before, but it sounds like I should've! With the specs and features you mentioned, it sounds like it couldn't potentially be a really good phone!
ReplyDeleteHope Vivo will invade you city as well!
DeleteI have seen some great products with Vivo, but I have never seen any of their smartphones. I will have to check out what I can find when I need to get another smart phone.
ReplyDeleteThat's great David! And it is actually not too expensive, quite reasonable.
DeleteI would much rather have a flawless using Vivo V7Plus than have surgery. I also think it would be much cheaper and there are always risks with surgery as well. That's the neatest phone I've seen yet.
ReplyDeleteI agree :)
DeleteWell, the user must eventually disclosed her true form before everything got serious :)
Omg what a fun event!!! Any event that involves technology and champagne gets two thumbs up from me
ReplyDeleteHigh five on that!
DeleteThis looks like it was such a great launch party! I love to go to events like this to see what things are all about.
ReplyDeleteThe Vivo launch in KL Pavillion is more fabulous. If there was no champagne and those cute minions during the party, I would definitely going home early.
DeleteWooooooooooo getting invited to VIvo launch is big. Congrats on that, I own a V5 already so no plans on buying v7 hehe but I should say that it's really a camera and music phone because the phone quality is amazing
ReplyDeleteThat's great Alex! Glad you are enjoying your V5
DeleteIt seems Vivo V7 is with lot of features including better selfies.I like your point about having a good phone than cosmetic surgery. That's a good idea! :)
ReplyDeleteahahah thank you Amila, pardon for my humor :D
DeleteEvents like this are always so much fun! I would love to go and see everything and have a great time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Bobbi :D
DeleteThere are several promising brands in this industry. And because there are plenty of competitors, cellphone companies are stepping up their games, which is definitely beneficial and exciting on the part of the buyers.
ReplyDeleteI agree, however it is sometimes exhausting! They are competing on similar market, and every two months, there is a new phone in town, its crazy.
DeleteOh wow! Looks very posh event. I want one in champagne gold please?! Not sure how iPhone users would love the features though. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI think the best part of iPhone is SIRI.
DeleteFirst of all, love your outfit!😊
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen Vivo but have not checked out their latest phone models, indeed, who needs cosmetics surgery when your phone can make you look good in pics and vids!😁
Thank you Ane!
DeleteYeah, just make sure that when we use Vivo, we must disclose our true images to avoid confusions :D
What a neat event! looks like you had tons of fun!
ReplyDeleteTaking some event photos yes. Party per se, not too much. it made me bored easily. After the product presentation, I decided to visit Resorts World for dinner. I didn't attend the celebrity interviews.
DeleteIt looks like a really amazing launch party. I think I'd like to look up the Matte Black Version the most. I like that they have a feature and they deliberately specialize in and push that for their marketing.
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve.
DeleteThis phone have a facial lock feature. It will scan your face to unlock the phone.
wow such a brilliant idea to launch an event like this.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear for visiting!
DeleteThe set up for this is just stunning. Plus the features for the phone certainly is quite tempting too. Need to check this the model soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks dear! Am pretty sure you will like the phone.
