Hello girlfriends!
How’s your weekend? Okay, I just spent my weekends at home and been focused on finishing my draft posts and photo editing. It is kind of exhausting sometimes, but I have to do it. I must. But someday when things are doing so well, I may start hiring help! LOL
This weekend’s bad weather is another reason why I decided to just stay at home and be cozy (though working). I’m not a huge fan of gloomy days, nor the typhoon season (OMG!). That means I have fewer outdoor activities and canceling some of my received invites because I always think first of my safety, rather than pleasing others, LOL.
So why I’m curling up here with my face mask on, I suddenly remember the time I got a free sugar testing and blood pressure testing last July 2016. Thanks to the beauties and very accommodating team of Primary Care Plus for inviting me and tagging me along with them when they had an event at McKinley residences, one of the elite residences and villages in Manila.
But anyway I’m not going to talk about the residents… I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned about taking care of our health first.
I guess most of you have been watching your health by eating the right kind of food, the proper exercise of sorts, visiting your dentists at least twice in a quarter, taking those vitamins and minerals (including diet supplements), etc.
I’ve been doing all of those, but still, I find it’s not good enough.
I want to know if I’m perfectly healthy, or if not I want to know from the physician what is wrong with me, so I could address it ASAP.
Plus, I want someone who is honest with me in terms of health issues. These kinds of things I don’t kid around, nor do I accept kiss-ass statements.
Visiting the hospital is not my option (for now). I just find hospitals to be so busy places that adding stress to me, and I would like to make things done quickly.
Am I that demanding?
Maybe… I am! But this is my health we are talking about. I believe you want it too, right?
So when Primary Care Plus invited me on a Saturday, I got curious about their services.
Primary Care Plus Inc. is a subsidiary of TAO Corporation under the Health and Wellness Division. The company is a one-stop primary care clinic that provides integrated, accessible healthcare as well as laboratory and diagnostic services to clients.
The company is partnering with various companies to provide their employees integrated healthcare services, which are accessible within the business district such as Taguig City. Currently, they’ve opened their clinic located at McKinley Hills, Taguig City. Their main office is located at G/F Diamond Arcade, Cubao, Quezon City.
I just remembered that I didn’t have a blood pressure test yet, and yup I’m curious to know if I’m still healthy, LOL
Ms. Jennie Grace, the resident nurse and also the Sales and Marketing Manager for Primary Care Plus assisted me in knowing my blood pressure.
Yey! Mine is 110/70 which she said I’m in a normal state. That’s good! Woot! Woot!
Well, I’m honestly felt worried before I knew my blood pressure rate, I was thinking – I won’t want health pressure, please spare me, lol
I’m trying all my best to be healthy and fit, which includes having proper exercise and eating the right kind of food.

I also had my blood sugar test – I was worried that I have diabetes of anything, and that worries me. So even I hate needles, I bravely let Ms. Melanie, PrimaryCare’s Healthcare Officer to conduct a blood sugar test using their handy testing kits, and guess what??
My result is normal! I’m 107, woot! Woot!
