Café Guide: Caravan Black in BGC

Caravan Black in BGC, cafe in Manila

Are you one of those people that likes to hangout to cafes?

Me too! And not just a cafĂ© – it should be an interesting cafĂ© that would make me feel comfortable, with good service and good place to enjoy coffee and other delights.

Recently, I’ve been enjoying have a cup of brewed coffee at Caravan Black, located at NET Park just next to my building. It was a nice place to hangout especially at 3pm where I need some pause from my hectic paper works.

I don’t know much about the owner of this place, but having some few observations, I guess the owner is well-traveled with a good taste on finding good beans during his travel. The cafĂ© also offered locally harvest coffee beans from various regions of the country, including locally made chocolates which I love!

Have you tried pairing coffee and dark chocolates?

Ah you must try it if you want to have that special kick!

The cafĂ© is well-lit and cozy, but I think they don’t have a free wifi and I prefer it that way to avoid many bystanders sitting for nothing but free access (shame on them!). I like that leather couch they have, and sometimes my team visit this place to have a casual meeting.

I like it here coz it is also a nice place to kill time and to observe people passing-by, thanks for this huge glass walls they installed.

    1. Thank you for appreciating dear! Cafes here in my neighborhood are quite struggling, it's almost going 2-years now and hope this café will last longer than the rest.

  3. That cafe is just near my place! I definitely should try that one out. :) I love hanging out in cafes, too. But only because of the smell.

    1. Oh they have an awesome smell - no scent of cigarettes. Just a relaxing scent + coffee. And I like the environment + the crowd.

  4. It looks like a very nice and cute cafe. To be honest, I would not return to a coffee shop that doesn't have free WiFi. I sometimes have to kill some time between meetings and if I can't connect to the internet I am unable to be productive and I just lose time (and money). So I prefer to order coffee, cakes, and do some work in the same time.

    1. Yeah I agree, however there is a reason why they might not offer a free wifi. Nowadays, the wifi-refugees as we called are becoming a problem to many cafes and restaurants. Also, this café is located at the ground floor of the prime building that houses many corporate firms, so it is practical to have a space with "no wifi" for a change.

  9. Never tried coffee with black chocolate but I've seen it on so many menu's. I always think it's going to be too bitter or have an odd texture
