Who among you loves a perfect relaxation?
Nothing makes more rewarding that going to a quiet and relaxing place, free your thoughts and release those stress that we have acquired for the whole week, and just lay down and have a good breathing.
Going to the spa is one of my favorite past time, even during my trips. During our recent trip to Bangkok, mon amour surprises me with a morning relaxation at Oasis Spa located at Sukhumvit 31.
Oasis Spa Thailand is one of the known luxurious spa in Bangkok. The place doesn’t need more further why they are luxurious because if you only step inside their compound then you will understand. Anyway, I took a liberty of capturing some video clips below so you would have an idea when you visit this place.
The morning is so beautiful and we both wakeup early and had our breakfast. At around 8:30AM we took a cab and when to Sukhumvit 31 where the spa is located. The place is truly beautiful and serene, and you will be amazed that this place exist right at the heart of busy Bangkok.
The moment we stepped out of our cab, I could clearly hear the birds chirping loudly as if they are very happy to see us making sure we have the warmest welcome. At the porch area, a Thai spa therapist warmly welcomed us.
If you are going to a Thai spa, leaving your footwear outside a common practice. Do not worry of losing them because they have individual basket just like here at Oasis Spa. It is also a gesture of respect to as a guest.
A welcome drink of warm or cold tea, and a warm wet hand towel seems a welcome necessity.
This Oasis Spa branch is called “The Garden of Heaven” with all these ancient trees surrounding the whole compound. The pathway leads you to a colonial-style building housing your private villa treatment room complete with waterfalls and gracious professional services.
The spa also sells their in-house bath and body products called KIN Secret Charms. Ohh dear, I tried some of them because they also offer free testing, and some products are also used on us during the therapy. It is also pity that they don’t have a smaller bottle so I could take them home. I love their KIN Secret Charm body wash with gold glitters it’s so luxurious, made my skin so smooth like a baby and gave me that shiny highlights after. It was amazing that even my boyfriend loves it.
Inside our private villa
Our private villa is very spacious. We have a space for our belongings and gave as this storage box with lock and key for our valuable things. Our therapists gave us separate towels for our shower, and disposable underwear. We need to take a shower, make sure we are thoroughly clean before we start the therapy.
This separate shower area is very nice that couples could share. Don’t worry because it is perfectly safe and you can do the full-monty. There’s some hair products and body wash that you can use for your own satisfaction.
At the back of this area is our private comfort room!
And here’s the inside of our private villa that has two massage beds for couples. Towels are all laid down properly and artistically adorned with purple orchid flowers, and you can hear this relaxing music surrounding the villa while hearing the birds singing and the smooth sounds of the trees swinging through the morning breeze.
It was very relaxing feeling.
We had a 2-hour Lanna Secrets Spa Package, which is a traditional Thai massage with Thai herbal hot compress that helps to dissolves soreness and further releases energy. Moreover, it includes an aromatherapy hot oil massage that brings the next level of relaxation and relief through the combination of essential oils and massage therapy. It is all worth it for only 2,700++ baht
And guess what?
The therapy was so good that I couldn’t help having tears of happiness. Ohh dear that was a bliss!
I would pay more money if there’s a spa in Manila that could give me that kind of relief.
After our two-hour therapy, we were treated with this little fruit watermelon snacks and ginger tea. Ohh they definitely know how to treat their clients right and with pleasure.
My boyfriend is also enjoying his treatment, and we are planning to visit again!
Verdict:
We had an amazing experience at Oasis Spa Sukhumvit 31. Though their price at not cheap at all, what you pay for is definitely worth it. They will treat you well and with pleasure and they will make sure that you will leave their compound happy and relaxed.
They also have another branch in Sukhumvit 51 with a Groovy Bohemian Day Spa, and I think we will try this branch on our next visit. Both Oasis Spa branches offers FREE transportation back to BTS Sukhumvit line Phrom Phong Station. If you choose to walk, it will take you 20-minutes.
I recommend that you book your appointment ahead of your trip.
You can BOOK here using KLOOK and get it at a discounted rate.

DeleteWe spent a few nights in Sukhumvit district of Bangkok on our trip last year, but didn't discover this lovely Oasis Spa, much to my current regret! The green gardens really look lush and relaxing, and the public spaces are nice too. The private villa looks amazing, I love that you have your own space like this, as often the less expensive spas are very tight on space.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, there are many cheaper Thai spas around but it is very limited in spaces and most of the time less privacy. I am glad that my boyfriend found this and booked in-advance.

ReplyDeleteThe place where I want to shut myself up, I really need peace and relaxation!
Absolutely! Just spending a few minutes staring at this lotus flower and listening to the water flows makes me feel in heaven.

Just looking at the exterior of the place already relaxes you. Such peaceful ambiance! I am sure the spa and massage service must have been wonderful! I have never had a thai massage and I am eager to find out and experience it myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kristine for visiting our page.

There is absolutely nothing like a good spa day is there? I could definitely do with having one soon and this looks like the perfect place.
ReplyDeleteOh that will be amazing Sarah, bring your girl squad!

ReplyDeleteYeah it is a wide tradition in many Asian homes and businesses. Its our way of respect to the host.

ReplyDeleteSpending time in a peaceful and quiet place once in a while is beneficial to our health.

DeleteOasis Spa is such a lovely place. And who does not want to relax in such a wonderful setting
ReplyDeleteOh you should have some relaxation too!
DeleteLooks like everything about this spa is relaxation since the moment you enter the building. The white painted wall combined with wooded floor and furniture brings nothing but cozy feeling. I know Sukhumvit area, but it doesn't show the busyness at all once you're in the Oasis Spa.
ReplyDeleteThat is true, and I can't believe it does exist in Sukhumvit knowing how crazy this district. Oohh I would love to visit this place again.

ReplyDeleteHi dear,
DeleteYou can always come back!
Relaxation, spa, Thai massage, private villa, all of these are my kind of things. Not always but sometimes, I do love to splurge and indulge. Oasis Spa looks inviting. There is no happiness like a great spa. It rejuvenates the body for more travels. I will check this out next time when I am in Thailand.
ReplyDeleteAdd this spa to your next Thailand trip, Manjulika :)
DeleteWow...simply breathtaking. I'm not the type of guy who goes looking for spas (not exactly my first idea for a relaxing time), but I could get into at a place like this!
ReplyDeleteI do try any kind of relaxation and the Oasis spa is one of the best!
DeleteWow...simply breathtaking. I'm not the type of guy who goes looking for spas (not my first choice for relaxing getaway), but I could get used to a place like this!
ReplyDeleteThat area where the lilies are looks so relaxing...Good you had a great time on your trip.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorite spot in this place.
DeleteGoodness I need to get over there. I really do need to have a nice day to relax and take care of myself.
ReplyDeleteIf only we are not yet visiting other place (after this we when to see Wat Pho) I can spend more hours just sitting outside and listening to the birds chirping.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place, inside and out! It kind of reminds me of the Excellence Resort, in Punta Cana, where hubby and I went in November 2013 for my middle daughter's destination wedding.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of Massage salon in Bangkok ung sobrang legit talang ang Thai massage nila.
ReplyDeleteThat is true! Even the small spas around, they are legit, nor copy-cats compared to some so-called Thai spas here in Manila.
DeleteHi! I enjoyed reading your post. Just like you, I super love Spas! And the price is relatively cheaper compared to our rates in PH for those type of amenities.Spa is really good when you're traveling abroad or out of the country kasi nakakapagod talaga mamasyal. :)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you!
DeleteYes, pricey for many but still cheaper comparing here in Manila. And with this price that offers an authentic experience.

DeleteI think I'd spend the whole time with a good book lazing in those comfy seats by the beautiful lily pond.
ReplyDeleteThat is another way to treat yourself!
DeleteI stay at Sukhumvit during my Bangkok trip but never knew about such a relaxing spa. This Oasis spa is amazing as it has lot to pamper ourselves. Taking 2 hours massage and then offered by watermelon snacks and ginger tea must be so relaxing. I loved the wooden interiors with lotus pond in front. Everything looks so soothing here.
ReplyDeleteOhh maybe you can visit them next time you are in Bangkok :D
DeleteWhat a simple and beautiful place to relax at. I would visit for all those body products!
ReplyDeleteI do regret of not buying! Because they don't have a smaller bottle, so I didn't buy it. It would be quite difficult to transport it back to Manila.
DeleteLooks like great place wish I can spend a day there. Thanks for sharing when I plan at Thailand trip sure I will visit this spa.

DeletePrior to this summer, I was never a fan of spa trips. I thought they were a waste of time when you could be going exploring. Now, I've had a change of heart. I think spas should be intertwined with your trip itineraries. Relaxing will help you enjoy all the experiences you have planned during your trip. The Oasis Spa in Thailand looks like the perfect getaway to escape the crowds and really enjoy the Thai beauty that surrounds you.
ReplyDeleteExploring the city is also tiring! That's why we need to relax our muscles and joints for the next adventure. Spa is heaven sent.
