St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is wooing brides-to-be by teaming up with luxury fashion brand, Marchesa, to unveil a bridal capsule collection.
The Marchesa Bridal Capsule Collection for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts comprises of four exclusive and one-of-a-kind couture bridal gowns inspired by some of the most iconic urban and resort destinations namely New York, Dubai, Mumbai and Punta Mita.
Co-founders of Marchesa, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, were recently named St. Regis Connoisseurs, ambassadors of the storied hotel brand. After showing Marchesa’s Bridal Collection at The St. Regis New York during International Bride Week, the exquisite designs of Marchesa Bridal found an ideal home with St. Regis, where weddings are always an affair beyond expectation. The Marchesa designers drew inspiration from the customs and culture of each locale so that each dress design connotes a unique sense of place.
Inspired by the Manhattan skyline and the original St. Regis location, the New York bridal gown design combines the city’s timeless style and iconic architecture with a modern twist.
The gown features a cathedral train with 3D-threadwork embroidery and crystal and pearl beading over silk duchess satin to embody the classic glamour that is synonymous with the iconic city of Manhattan.
Middle East’s cosmopolitan epicenter and the luxurious St. Regis Dubai is being reflected in this gown inspired by Dubai. The design highlights the fashion-forward nature of its jet setting population by featuring a slim silhouette, long sleeves and dramatic fishtail skirt.
The ornate, rose gold threadwork compliments the clear crystal and pearl beading for a truly eye catching gown.
The Mumbai edition features an intricate-engineered, embroidered lace bodice with crystal and pearl embroidery with gold accents.
It is a regal dress with traditional Indian beading and is finished with a pleated tulle skirt overlay and a Chantilly lace column skirt.
The resort setting of Punta Mita inspired a design that embraces a more relaxed aesthetic in-tune with a beach wedding.
The dress features soft 3D-lace floral and threadwork embroidery with flowing tulle.
Available at stregis.com/marchesa, each dress is offered for $20,000 – $50,000. Brides who settle for one of the bridal gowns will be invited to Marchesa’s atelier for a personal fitting with Chapman and Craig, followed by a stay at the legendary The St. Regis New York.
