Chances are, not most of you have been to Okada Manila - one of the exquisite entertainment hub in the Philippines.
We’ve decided to have a spontaneous trip to Okada Manila one Saturday and we thought it was one of the memorable Saturdays we had.
With a wide span of 44 hectares with picturesque oceanfront of Manila Bay, Okada Manila is the Entertainment City’s iconic integrated resort, with ultra-luxurious casino, hotel, high end restaurants and shops of your favorite luxury brands, and also an entertainment hub.
On its main lobby, you will noticed how exquisite it was designed and layout according to the luxury standards of the casino. Having a high ceilings, all adorned with luxurious taste, I say that Okada Manila will be my next weekend destination.
You will see the ushers and usherettes in their formal evening attire ready to accommodate you around. From the entrance per se, you will appreciate the tight security they have. With fully equipment CCTV cameras around, robust guards and their guard dogs, plus their state-of-the-art security scanner, you will feel secured.
I can say that the security here is much higher than the Resort World Manila.
And I like that kind of tight security – you’ll feel protected and guarded as well.
Everything is well ornate with high taste, something that I like very much.
Okada Manila have the most dynamic and fun casino with thousands of gaming options to choose from. They have the biggest progressive jackpot in the country (the last time I heard it was up to Php38M). They have the classic Baccarat to poker, roulette to craps, from sic bo to pontoon, you name it they have it.
But as per the casino policy, taking photos inside the casino area is not allowed. However, I once joined my friend to play poker and I’m telling you it was an amazing experience. I heard they have over 3,000 electronic gaming machines, and 500-gaming tables.
How much more if I play poker?!
I need to learn first the game, mastered it before I played with these pros.
Some parts of Okada Manila are still under construction, but this place is truly promising.
We went to its Piazza and checked its shopping area, with over 50 leading luxury brands in their retail spaces.
Entering in their retail area makes you feel and smells its luxurious effect, which makes you want to guard your credit cards, hahaha.
I love their ceilings ornate with these pretty chandeliers (makes me wonder if those are baccarats), how they painted their walls with perfect combination of custard yellow and other related shades, plus its luxurious carpets (I wonder if these are from Showcase Carpets).
If you find yourselves feeling lost, don’t worry because they have installed this electronic guide screen, which can help you on your Okada experience. Also, don’t hesitate to approach their staffs and guards.
Based on our experience, they are truly helpful and accommodating.
Well even their guard dogs are so cute and adorable as well!
In this wing, we’ve visited the ongoing exhibition by known Filipino artists. It was an amazing experience as we both love visiting galleries and exhibitions. You may check my post about Panorama exhibitions here.
Their signage are well customer friendly. They are written in three languages – English, Chinese and Japanese. With corresponding arrows, so it is hard for you to get lost.
Before we visit the famous fountain area, we decided to visit the powder for a quick touch-up.
The planned quick touch-up turns to quite few minutes as we are both amazed how tidy and organized the comfort room is.
The cubicles are installed with heavy wooden doors, with secured looks inside. Almost sound-proof as I couldn’t hear my friend talking in the next cubicle!
Inside the comfort is an electronic toilet bowl just like in Japan. If you haven’t been to Japan and at least want to experience it, you can visit Okada Manila. My friend was so excited learning this.
Female comfort room is so spacious and very friendly. The assigned staff frequently making sure there is zero droplets of water in all sink counters and all tissues are well folded. They also have area for changing baby’s diaper for the convenience of their Mothers.
Also the room is also decorated with orchids, and these are no synthetic orchids.
I couldn’t help to take some selfies in this comfort room!
You’ll never know this photo is taken inside the female’s comfort room!
The night was so beautiful and it is shame not to enjoy it.
