If you are looking for another place to stay in Manila, I have another place that you might find it convenient and relaxing.
I did stayed for couple of times at F1 Hotel Manila in Bonifacio Global City.
BOOK NOW HERE
The hotel is just a few minutes’ drive from my place in the heart of the busy district. Whenever I feel bored and needs to relax and regain my energy, I opt to stay in different place, and F1 Hotel Manila is one of my choice.
During my first stay, I’ve got this deluxe room for myself.
I used Expedia in booking of all my hotel accommodation because I find it more convenient, plus gives me amazing rebates for every stay (I will share the story on a separate post). But for my F1 Hotel stay, my boyfriend booked this place for me! He is using Expedia Italia and both of us are using the Expedia app.
The Deluxe Room with 1 bedroom have all the amenities that I need for my 3-days stay. I’ve got an amazing receiving area for where I could rest, and not directly to my room, which is pretty awesome.
The layout and designs are quite minimalist in gray and brown combination, with a cozy lighting which is cool. That couch is good too, where I enjoyed watching lots of HBO movies. I’ve also got a working table where I spent a lot of time, writing and editing my drafts and photos for my blog. My room is also equipped with telephone, and free wifi connection which is very convenient.
And here’s my bed!
Very spacious for someone like me and I love it!
But if my boyfriend is around, definitely this bed is quite small for us.
I like how clean the duvet are and they regular change it upon my request. At the bedside also has an available telephone plus directory, some writing pads and pencil.
The minimalist layout is quite impressive and those lights setting are good that makes this room so inviting to sleep in.
The bathroom is also nice and super clean, and also equipped with generous amount of toiletries and clean white towels, and hot-and-cold shower. But no bathtub.. Ah am pretty disappointed about it.
My room also got a mini-fridge and small bar! It is also equipped with coffee makers and complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water.
A total of 240-rooms are available in F1 Hotel Manila, all with free wifi access and iPod docks. Also got a 24-hour room service, televisions (my room got two televisions) and free local newspapers.
It also comes with free breakfast, which I also love and free wifi access to all their public areas. They also have a bar/lounge, a poolside bar and a coffee shop/café but I didn’t visit them during the course of my stay.
My first stay here at F1 Hotel Manila was a very memorable and relaxing weekend, and no wonder after few months, I’ve stayed here for my second staycation!
But this time, I’ve got this studio-type room that is much smaller than my previous room. It also have a receiving area, a minibar equipped with coffeemaker and complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water, a space for my luggage and cabinet to hang my clothes, they even have an iron rack inside.
My sofa is much smaller than my previous room, however the room is brighter than my first room. I’ve also got a small working table next to my twin beds.
And here’s my twin bed. This is the only available room during that time, so I decided to grab it anyway. But if you are staying here with your family, you can moved these bed together to form a bigger bed.
My bathroom was quite smaller than my first room, and also doesn’t have a bathtub. They also provide me clean towels and toiletries and tissue papers, and at least they have a functional hot-and-cold shower.
Having a staycation in F1 Hotel Manila also got me an opportunity to gain my energy and got inspired to create more content for my website. Sometimes I need a change of environment to get inspired. Though my apartment is also comfortable, my inner personal treat it as very mundane place so most of the time, inspiration flies out of my window (LOL).
During my staycation, I also got time to watch my favorite shows on nearby cinema (yeah I rarely watch movies) and also visit the new stores in the city. It is important that I should know these places because my website/blog is becoming a city guide! And that’s awesome.
However, I didn't bother visiting its restaurant, swimming pool and the gym because these places are not my cup of tea during that time. Not only I was focused on my writing, but also I've seen these amenities prior of my staycation and I don't find them appealing at all. So why bother?
Besides there are many awesome restaurants surrounding the hotel, so it's a great opportunity to hop in!
How much is the average cost of room at F1 Hotel Manila?
The average cost ranges from Php6,000 to 8,000 depending on the type of room available. Do check availability via Expedia for updated pricing.
If you will ask if you can bring your furry best-friend around, then the answer is NO. Though the city per se is pet-friendly, there are many hotels, including F1 Hotel Manila that doesn’t allowed pets to check-in. Sad but true, you have to leave your pets at home with their nannies or let them have their own staycation at the nearby pet lounging house.
All staffs are very polite and very accommodation. If you need a meeting room for you suddenly client meetings, they also have available room for you, fully equipped with supplies and technical facilities like projectors, lights and sound, etc. You just ask them and they will provide.
They also offer a long-stay term. Contact them for this offer and you can avail a discount rate for long-stay.
Disclaimer: #NotASponsored post, but I lovely thank my boyfriend for generously booking my stay here

I don't know if my last comment posted because of wifi issues so I will write another one. The pictures were very helpful especially when reading reviews about certain hotels or restaurants. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and Hotel Manila in Bonifacio Global City looks like my cup of tea!

Thank you Kaelyn. Yeah I enjoyed my stay. Stayed here for three times already :)
DeleteThis looks like a lovely hotel for a staycation. I'm glad you had a good stay. I think I'd spend most of my time in that luxurious looking bathroom. It is too bad there was no tub though.
ReplyDeleteI know right?! That is disappointing. One of the reason I keep on coming back to a hotel because of the bathtub :)
DeleteThe room, while it might have been smaller than the one you were allotted the first time you were there, does still look quite comfortable. The look on your face also conveys that you were quite relaxed and happy. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Denny! Yeah the first room was much better but both have no bathtubs, lol
DeleteWow, knowing that the Deluxe Room with 1 bedroom have all the amenities that you need for your length of stay is sound very cool and promising. I love how organized the room, clean and very spacious. I would love to let my body kiss the bed and just sleep.
ReplyDeleteYeah that is something I love as well. Plus this hotel is very accessible to entertainment and dining district.
DeleteOff late I have been reading so many posts about philippines that it features high on my travel bucket list and I shall keep this post in consideration for a stay option in manila, the place looks nicely done and absolutely comfortable and cosy
ReplyDeleteYou will enjoy Manila, and have lots to offer.
DeleteThis hotel definitely looks and sounds quite chic. The rooms look comfortable and luxurious enough. Definitely worth a stay for a weekend or 3-4 days.
ReplyDeleteStaycations are definitely a great way to relax and unwind in a familiar environment. Nevertheless, I'd rather spend the money travelling to another part of the world as I'd be able to experience local cultures and traditions better and be able to try out new things that aren't available in my home country.
ReplyDeleteThat's another cool option as well.
DeleteThe idea of the 'staycation' has really taken off over the past decade. You certainly have found a lovely hotel to take a break and relax in. While I understand you are disappointed about not having a bath, the rooms you stayed in definitely look comfortable, modern and clean...plus free wifi and breakfast is pretty good!
ReplyDeleteYeah. This is also a good place during typhoon season, and I don't want to stay at home for safety reason.
DeleteWhat an interesting name for a hotel! It looks like a very comfortable stay when in Manila. I like the bed and the living area too, very cosy!
ReplyDeleteLOL so true! At first I thought it is related to the famous F1 cars, but they aren't.
Deletelooks like a lovely hotel! I do think I preferred your first room to the second - looks like it was a lot more spacious. I like the design theme
ReplyDeleteSo true! The second room is quite smaller and I don't like to have two bed in a room.
DeleteThe hotel rooms looks very luxurious. The frames captured by you are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear!
DeleteI've read a lot of good reviews about the hotel, in fact they ranked #4 (Taguig City Hotels) in TripAdvisor. Their rooms are very spacious and well appointed. I think now they have offers for as low as Php3,800/night including breakfast for 2 persons.
ReplyDeleteYeah sometimes they have that, but it wasn't as nice as this room. Nowadays, they are offering a bit lower price because of higher competition. Many new hotels are popping now in her Taguig.
DeleteAs always - a superb review with lovely pictures. The hotel is marvelous. the interior and the ambiance is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like the objective way in which you review Hotels. Hotel Manila though seems like an absolute delight, which is fairly obvious from that relaxed look on your face.
ReplyDeleteYeah there are many hotels soon to open here in Manila and I'm excited to try them all.
DeleteYour stay in F1 hotel at Manila looks cozy, comfortable and worth staying. I loved the minimalist decor in the room. Brown and gray colors on wall and furniture are pleasing and soothing for eyes. It is very good that you enjoyed your staycation by watching movies, reading and writing.
ReplyDeleteYeah I love it. But if am with my mom amour, geez no writing for me!
DeleteThe Deluxe room seems like a Suite to me. Glad to know you got such an amazing room with rebates. Everything looks spic and span and well maintained. Who wouldn't like staying in such rooms for a relaxed vacation. Great pictures, seems you enjoyed a lot.
ReplyDeletethank you dear!
DeleteThe Accor hotels have spread their wings far and wide! F1 recently opened their hotel also in my hometown Chennai! I'm yet to stay there. This looks pretty cozy! I guess I should book my staycation now.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool! Share your staycation story soon!
DeleteThat looks like a great hotel! I'm enjoying my first staycation this weekend so this was very informative. And thank you for comparing the two types of room! I loved your self-care mask! Might need to bring one with me!
ReplyDeleteThank you Annick and hope you will enjoy your staycation too!
DeleteThis sounds like a great idea to check into a hotel in your hometown. Especially if your thinking about taking the big gap year trip. You should spend a weekend at a hostel or couchsurfing before heading out internationally on your own. Good call with the stayvacation.
ReplyDeleteI tried staying in a hostel and on the contrary it gives me more stress... same with couchsurfing. My travel lifestyle doesn't fit to these two.
DeleteThis looks like a great place to stay. Very timely since we are looking for a hotel near BGC. We'll try to check their rates. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll enjoy the F1 Hotel. Its was my go-to during typhoon season :D
DeleteLooks like you had a great time at this lovely hotel in Manila. I think a staycation is so important to have sometimes. It's good to know it's pet-friendly, and I love the photo of you with the mask, lol!
ReplyDeleteI tried staying in a hostel and on the contrary it gives me more stress... same with couchsurfing. My travel lifestyle doesn't fit to these two.
ReplyDeletesame here!
DeleteI've always wanted to visit Manila and now I know where I should stay if and when I do! I love that you're reviewing this after having stayed in different rooms too. Very detailed review and can see why you'd keep going back!
ReplyDeleteYeah I do. And their foods are also good. This is my go-to hotel when I'm stacked in the city during typhoon season.
DeleteThank you for suggesting this option for stay. Nice pictures. I prefer rooms which have separate receiving areas. Also, the room looks great despite being in subtle colors. You indeed had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI like this room with receiving area, especially if you have visitors or if you want to conduct meetings. Its perfect!
DeleteAnother Staycation! Wish I had enough time to be able to explore my own city like you do. The hotel looks lovely and its so spacious! I don't mind the minimalist look and sometimes hotels can be too loud and busy. Especially if you're trying to relax.
ReplyDeleteMy staycation becomes so frequent because of this monsoon season.
DeleteLooks like a great find in the heart of Manila. The hotel looks very chic and the rooms spacious. It’s quite modern with all the amenities for your 3 day stay. Sadly not pet friendly though. Apart from that as all the things of a great hotel. Wish I could try out few hotels in my city like you. Amar singh
ReplyDeleteYeah, pet industry in Manila is huge but very few are pet-friendly. The irony is!
DeleteI can really feel the comfort and calm that you enjoyed through your writing and the photos. I like that you described each and every detail with honesty. I completely agree with you on the need to find some lone time and personal space to write blogs.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear for appreciating!
DeleteI love the idea of a staycation! This hotel looks beautiful as well - I love the yellow accents. Looks super cosy and a great place to unwind :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. If I have a chance to stay here, I wouldn't hesitate.
DeleteOhhh I am contrary of you, I always check first if they have a great swimming pool and a gym! And a great view from the room! Too bad we didnt get to see any of these! But the rooms at F1 hotel Manila do look very nice so perhaps none of the things above matters because ww could just lay on the bed all day and just regain energy!
ReplyDeleteYeah that's true! Every travelers and vacationers have different tastes.
DeleteBut during typhoon season, this is my go-to place.
I have never stayed in Manila but would certainly consider staying at the F1 Hotel. I love the decor in both of the bedrooms. I also loved the funky art work. The colour schemes were calming in both rooms. I think I should take your idea and have more staycations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Jane! Yes this hotel is one of the good ones.
DeleteI love hotel reviews - you get a feeling of what you really get if you booked different room types. I am quite particular when it comes to hotel rooms but will be undecided when it comes to bath tubs - if I had a relaxing vacation a bath tub would be a must but if its a visit the city rush then a shower stall is enough.
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic! I am glad you like my reviews.
DeleteIt's great to have a rest from a husstle and bussle of Manila in a place like that. I loved the big bed, I think it's suitable for two people without discomfort. The bathroom looks amazing, everything high class. I would definitely stay there.
ReplyDeleteYes the bed can fit two person!
DeleteLovely hotel! Very modern lines, but spacious and comfortable. Looks like the perfect place for a staycation in Manila.
ReplyDeleteThey also have family room for bigger number of occupants. This one I've got is spacious and you can have a small party here.
DeleteF1 hotel stay looks perfect with cozy room options. I loved wooden flooring and minimalist decor of room. It is great you got so much me time and watched many movies and even got time to edit your drafts.
ReplyDeleteYeah that's true because technically, my staycation is also my work mode for my blog :D
DeleteIt was good to learn about a new hotel in Manila. Also, I like such rooms with simplistic approach and equipped with everything for a traveler. And of course, a room with a writing desk is something that I always look forward to. Its perfect to plug the laptop there and go back to writing blogs whenever one wants.
ReplyDeleteThat's true! And having a functional electrical outlet near the bed is a must.
