Ber-months are not only the season for holidays, and fashion week but also the season of discovering new home and design trend for the coming season. This 68th season of Manila FAME showcased a new concept of Design Commune to establish a steady designer-manufacturer relationship where designers understand the skills of manufacturers, and manufacturers recognize the significance of product design and development.

This season features the Design Commune with themed “NUDE+”, the four dimension of colors and various shades of nudes, as together formed the NUDE+Pastel, NUDE+Spice, NUDE+Easth and NUDE+Luster.

Two renowned designers Tes Pasola, and Detlef Klatt are commissioned to style and curate this season’s design commune underlining the neutral shades of nude against the strength of each products’ design boldness and beauty.

I couldn’t help noticing that this season’s commune seems get inspiration from the recent Pantone’s release of 2019 Spring Summer Color Trend. Spring/Summer 2019 reflects the desire to embolden ourselves as we face the future; turning to colours and colour stories that provide confidence and lift our spirits; embracing a colour and design direction filled with creative and unexpected combinations. This season’s report features the top 12 stand out colours, as well as current takes on four classic neutrals. (link here)

  1. Oh, how I love pastel colors! And now I am thinking of repainting our room with peach and put rustic accents to it. Thanks for this wonderful idea.
