Thailand is one of the countries in Asia that I am planning to visit, hopefully before the end of this year. One of the agricultural countries (like the Philippines) Thailand is also very rich in culture and beautiful beaches :). That's the reason why I never missed their annual trade show held at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City last month (April 2013). I love attending trade shows I don't mind paying the entrance fees because I know that I will get something useful after my visit. Thailand Annual Trade-show is a FREE event. You don't need to pay for the entrance/registrations fee which I really appreciate.
It is a 2-days event (from April 6-7, 2013). What's in the trade show? You will see several new products and brands that are not yet available here in the Philippines, and they are here to promote the products and services, and also to promote the tourism industry of Thailand. Though it's kinds of tiring to attend this kind of event, (and sometimes breaking your budget) still everything's worth it. During the event, they have live cultural performances that everyone enjoys. Like this lady in the photo, performing the cultural dance, I really appreciate the way they present themselves, the costumes and movements are very arty!
Here are some of the random photos I've captured during the trade shows. They sell various snacks and goodies, fashion accessories, jewelry, clothing and fabrics, healthy drinks and coffee, and also some wonderful beauty and spa products.
Snacks and goodies - they sell it at cheap and reasonable prices but mostly they sell it in bulk.
For all kitchen divas out there, you should try their different spices and seasonings.
If you are a coffeeholic, they also have a various selections of coffee, from coffees that will keep you awake and active, down to coffees that will help you to be fitter and slimmer.
Ginger tea is their very famous tea. They gave me some samples and I love the taste. My mom said I should drinks it regularly in order to have a nice voice, hahaha
Coffee with Vitamin C and Collagen? Yeah only in Thailand made :)
they also have this beer, ala San Miguel Light!
I really like these night lamps. I called it a puzzle night lamp! These are made in durable plastic and are very tricky to connect to each piece.
Thailand is also popular for very beautiful jewelry and fashion accessories.
I fell in love with the details and craftsmanship of each jewelry they have.
They have wide selections of shoes, bags, clothing, and other accessories for different occasions. Most of the items are not yet available in our local market. that's why this is also their good opportunity to get new partners and agents.
Even Ms. Granny is having fun shopping for her new outfits :)
Thailand is not only into fashion and food spices... they are also known for beauty products and spa essentials.
I even visited the Thailand Tourism booth to get sample readings for my soon trip to Thailand! I am excited :)
If you missed this trade show then don't worry, there's always next time :D
