If you’ve been following me on Instagram last month, I’ve been posting some live photos during my first non-invasive treatment with the fabulous dermatologist Dr. Jennie Francisco-Diaz of Skin 101 Clinic in Katipunan Branch. I’m still so thankful that Restylane and the Galderma Philippines team chose me as one of their online brand ambassadors, and having this treatment is such a sweet treat
Skin 101 Clinic in Katipunan-White Plains Branch
So last December 10th after I’ve finished running some errands of the day, I’ve booked a car going to White Plains and head on to Skin 101 Clinic for my scheduled appointment.
And just to make my first visit quite memorable, I visited the clinic on my birthday! Hahaha yeah I made it as my birthday self-treat, literally as I went there solo. I arrived a bit early on my appointment as I’m not familiar with the place, good thing GrabCar always on a rescue
While waiting on my schedule, I sat down comfortable on the reception area and observed some clients who comes and goes. What I’ve noticed, the there are more women are getting vain for themselves, not because they want to have that glow for they partner, but for themselves.
Aside from observing people, I also did my selfies before my treatment, you know so that I have some basis for me to share my before my treatment.
I’ve noticed that my eye bags are getting worst (well blame it to late night works, and genetics, hahaha) so I’m thinking of working on it (yeah soon!) and also my upper cheeks, and my chin. Although I had my chin treatment last year of April 2015, but I think it needs more prominence so want to have it done again.
After my one-on-one consultation with Dr. Jennie, and discussed with her my skin concerns and the possible treatments ready for me, the nurse guided me to the upper floor for treatment preparation. The nurse gently cleanses my face, not my whole face. She said she will cleanse only the certain areas for the treatment. Well at least she didn’t erase my prepped eyebrows, lol
After cleansing, the nurses put some generous amount of topical anesthesia on both my cheeks and chin. It stayed on my face for about 45minutes, so while waiting I took tons of selfies, documenting my session. Which reminds me next time I’ll visit the clinic, I’ll ask someone to come with me so I wouldn’t be tired taking photos by myself.
... and I even send a video clip on my Instagram!
Urban way to spend my birthday 😂 Can't believe I hit my milestone and still ehem .. BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for #galdermaphilippines, #restylane, and @skin101_ph for this treat. Stayed there waiting for 45minutes while my face have this aesthesia. I got tired of taking my selfies so I took a quick nap. When I woke up, it was time for the nurse to remove those creams.
But before that I got the chance to take some snapped of those gorgeous machine they have in the clinic. That seems fancy ready for us to make us prettier and fabulous!
After the attendant nurse cleanse out those creamy topical anesthesia, Dr. Jennie took these shots for medical documentation purposes. Yes, I know these shots are the ugliest I have been, hahaha well good thing I still have my prepped eyebrows :D
Dr. Jennie told me to that she will put some Restylane Perlane fillers on both my cheeks for a little enhancement, and some on my chin. She told me blatantly that my chin is not the ideal one (well I like the honesty) because as you could see my chin is not parallel to my lips. The ideal should be parallel-vertically straight, compared to mine, which is diagonal.
Okay it’s time for some action!
With the help of two nurse attendants, the team prepared me for my treatment (yey!)
Dr. Jennie used a white pencil to line up my face; it will be her guide to where she will inject the fillers ready for my consumption.
Even though I had those topical anesthesia, Dr. Jennie got very OC that she asked these two nurses to rub some ice on my cheeks and chin, before she would inject the fillers.
When she injected me with fillers I honestly didn’t feel about it – those anesthesia are so good, plus ice-numbing. (Or maybe I just a high-tolerance for pain, haha).
This is my photo a few minutes after the procedure. My cheeks and chin are a little numb and pinkish, and so far I didn’t feel any. The procedure went so well, in fact the actual procedure only takes less than 15minutes! Teeth cleaning are much longer; even when I have that topical anesthesia on my face which I had it for 45minutes. Soo cool isn’t?
Dr. Jennie used a total of 2 vials of Restylane Perlane – one (1) for my chin, and another one (1) for both of my cheeks.
As you could see, my cheeks got a little volume and also my chin becomes more visible, hahaha I like it!
Dr. Jennie has very light-hands, meaning she works really well. She also told me I even didn’t bleeds, which is quite rare she said.
Ohh my cheeks looks good!
And so my chin! Oh my God, I love it!!!
Based on my personal experience, I can say that Restylane fillers are perfectly safe. I haven’t felt any allergies or sort, no bruises, (but Dr. Jennie is kind of OC so she still gave me anti-bruising and anti-swelling pills, and because I’m an obedient patient, then I took those pills for 3 days!) no trouble on breathing, etc.
None, none, NONE at all!
My IG Photo a week (7 days) after my treatment:
Oohh Emmm Geee! I took this selfie few minutes ago and I couldn't help to think how happy I am with my new youthful glow! Today marks a week after I undergo a non-invasive aesthetic treatment on my CC (cheeks and chin), in collaboration with #galdermaphilippines @restylane and Dr. Jennie of @skin101_ph And that V-shaped face! I love it! Now I have my desired face without undergoing extreme surgery. Even my friends noticed it too, and says it also enhance my smile, hihihi Thanks Amigas! I'm still drafting my post about this experience, from the consultation and actual procedure (so there will be lots of photos and ugly selfies to come) but it will be up soon! If you couldnt wait for my post and like to ask some questions about #dermafillers and #restylane , Just drop me a note here and I would be glad to accommodate your queries! P.S. December 22 (12 days after my treatment) – at the bloggers’ event beauty launch in The Fort together with my Amigas – Denise and Mommy Lariza. I wore a little face powder, and some lipsticks.. no need for more make-ups and contouring – that’s what I like about Restylane, it makes you look glowy!
Simple look, glowy and kissable, lol
With Restylane, it will make you look younger, and fresher glowing YOU at your age. Not like the photo above (you’ll get the immigration officer really confused about your passport/identification, LOL).
How much is the Restylane? And where can I buy it?
Alright, I’m telling you. Restylane aren’t cheap okay… But it is the most effective and quicker way to boost your glow, compared to all the topical creams that we use (I’m guilty too). Each vial would cost Php14,000++ this doesn’t included yet your Doctor’s Fee (and other’s).
The amount of dermal fillers that you will need depends on the NEEDS to boost your glow. Like mine, I only need 1 vial for both of my cheeks :)
Restylane fillers can also be used to enhance the bridge of your nose, to have a delicate pretty hands, and other parts of your body. (I’ve heard on my Amigas online that Restylane can also be used to your vaginal muscle for enhancement, hahaha).
For more inquiries and buying Restylane fillers you may email Restylane Philippines at
Hold on sister – or better STOP!
Like I’ve said, Restylane dermal fillers are not cheap (or sold in very good to-be-true-kind-of-prices). It never sold on 50% or 75% off the market price, darling. Always remember that good products that is effective, doesn’t need to lower its price in the market. So if you encounter online shops selling very cheap fillers, then back-off sister. There is a huge possibility that those fillers are FAKE!
You don’t want to end-up like this girl from Thailand, and regretting your prudent instinct don’t you? :)
