Today is about how I styled this chocolate knitwear. This was generously gifted by Petal & Pup months ago, and I love the whole fit and silhouette, although the bottom is a little longer for my height, so I had to put some pins on it. Knitwear is always one of my favorites, especially living in an unpredictable Gippsland weather.
Knitwear in two separate pieces is even better, coz I can easily style it with my other clothes. Just like when I wear the knitted top and pair it with my green silk dress, and embellish it with crochet ribbons I recently made, inspired by Simone Rocha.
Then I styled the pants along with my banana-printed ruffled top, along with a cheetah print sheer top.
All the looks have different personalities, and I love it.

I decided to upcycle this empty Lindt chocolate container after finishing its contents (hahaha). This little pink bunny bag accessory (Prada-inspired) is upcycled as well, and I posted a separate blog about it.

When I visited Aldi and bought a ball of chunky acrylic yarn in mint green, I knew that I would find it useful eventually. I was recently obsessing about bows and ruffles that I’ve been seeing on Simon Rocha and Bora Aksu looks, and I thought it would be fun to make some crochet bow brooches and attach them all to this knitted top.
A bit inspired by chocolate and mint-flavoured snacks!
