Hello Friends!
Who have you are lusting for visiting public exhibition with your favorite artists? And the most amazing part of it – IT WAS FREE ADMISSION!
Yes ladies, I could see it in your twinkling eyes, especially those of you who have an exquisite eye for fancy things and fashion!
Months ago, I’ve visited this public exhibition of selected pieces created and designed by Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero – the woman of high taste and exquisite style, and a renowned artist in the Philippines. No wonder she is now a favorite of most ladies in the upper society, Love Marie had successfully sold-out her first batch of paintings back in 2014 in an hour, and another batch showed in Singapore back in 2015, also sold out! She also had successfully published her own style book, perfumes collaborations to various famous brands, and even had collaborated to paint and designed stylish dresses with Filipino fashion designer Mark Bumgarner.
Speaking of bags, recently she’s been a talk-of-the-town for successfully painting some of her Hermes bags (yeah literally those hundred $$$ bags!) and the ladies in the upper hills are became obsessed with it.
Just think about how they can have a makeover for their accidentally ruined Jacky bag that they naughty pooch bite few weeks ago – and that’s a genius idea!
Using a special kind of paints for bags, she designed flawlessly making these Hermes bags something more special. Though the paint used are never disclosed in the public, I assume it is the same paint that Dolce & Gabbana have used for their hand-painted bags.
The cost of paintings Hermes bags? According to Love Marie, she charges Php90,000 (approx $1,837) for the services alone, bag not included. And it takes two to three days to finish her creations.
Included to her public exhibitions are some of her selected paintings in canvas.
Am truly inspired – the idea of having your dresses be painted, making your own prints on the fabric before cutting it, is such a satisfying experience. And since am also have enough space for my crafting, maybe I should do it!

Conventional people might not understand my passion on such things, but this is what at least pleasures me for the day (though not yet crazy enough to handover my credit card for a bag, hahaha).
Speaking of bags, recently she’s been a talk-of-the-town for successfully painting some of her Hermes bags (yeah literally those hundred $$$ bags!) and the ladies in the upper hills are became obsessed with it.
It started when she accidentally dropped some cheesed sauce on her yellow Birkin while enjoying his cheese fries. And she tried to fix it to hide the flaw. And many are applauded on what she did and her creativity.
Just think about how they can have a makeover for their accidentally ruined Jacky bag that they naughty pooch bite few weeks ago – and that’s a genius idea!
Dreams in Aqua Hermes Bag
Guarded with armed securities (I can’t blamed her, it’s an effin $$$ bags though!), I’ve politely asked Big Brother Guards if I could roamed around and take some photos. I was anxious at first that they won’t permit (and I would understand if they really wont), but they did!

I was so excited AF because it is a rare occasion that Love Marie allowed this kind of exhibitions. Though she is understandably known as a celebrity (she’s also an entertainment television and movie actress) and earns ever fame she have from the industry, she have successfully elevated her personal branding to something remarkable.
Using a special kind of paints for bags, she designed flawlessly making these Hermes bags something more special. Though the paint used are never disclosed in the public, I assume it is the same paint that Dolce & Gabbana have used for their hand-painted bags.

This is not the first time that a hand painted Hermes bag got attention in the public. Remember back in 2014 when Kim Kardashian proudly carries her cream-colored Hermes bag that was hand painted by her daughter North.
The cost of paintings Hermes bags? According to Love Marie, she charges Php90,000 (approx $1,837) for the services alone, bag not included. And it takes two to three days to finish her creations.
Included to her public exhibitions are some of her selected paintings in canvas.
If you want to see her previous works, you can visit my post here (link here) when I’ve visited her very first exhibit ay Ayala Museum.
Recently, she also collaborated with Filipino fashion designer and former race-car driver Mark Bumgarner for his 2016 collection. Love Marie have painted selected of his works, and many avid buyers are so happy to wear their creations.
These dresses are part of the 40-piece collection launched in 2016, and Love Marie hand painted 15-piece from the said collection, using her signature patterns of nature including flowers, leaves and vines. All dresses have the designer’s trademark, Dior-inspired streamlined silhouettes.
And while am feasting my eyes and my camera of course for these gorgeous pieces, I couldn’t help but thinking, what if I also paint my dresses and bags the way Love Marie did? It could add sentimental value to my properties!
Am truly inspired – the idea of having your dresses be painted, making your own prints on the fabric before cutting it, is such a satisfying experience. And since am also have enough space for my crafting, maybe I should do it!
I may not have a gorgeous exhibit like hers, but she made me inspired to create something for my own, and hopefully for my closest love ones. The idea of personalizing gifts excites me most!
Did you like her artworks? What is your favorite?

xoxo, Blair
Omg thats amazing to merge both paintings in bags. All the hermes bags look really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you Amelie, she is truly showered with talents, I can't take it anymore, lol
DeleteOh dear... what guts it takes to paint onto those branded bags. And now, with her signature painting, it is more expensive!
ReplyDeleteI know right! She got so famous about it.
DeleteLove Marie? First time hearing about her but I do agree she is brilliant for the quick fix of her branded bag. State of the art
ReplyDeleteYeah, even Singaporean socialites and Malaysian Hermes collectors are friends of hers.
DeleteThe Hermes collection is just WOW! Love the dresses and paintings too. How's the book?
ReplyDeleteThe book is just about her beauty regimen, makeup technique and stuffs, not too interesting.
DeleteThose are sone super duper gorgeous berkins... Can only ever dream of having one..butbto be honest, I really wont pay so much money for a bag... Huhuhuhu
ReplyDeleteYeah, but if you analyze it a lot Birkins are such a good investment than gold! Birkins appreciates it value annually and keeps on increasing while gold is depreciating.
DeleteI love hermes bag! Their designs seriously always unique and special!
ReplyDeleteExactly and always get respected, lol. I would never say no for Birkin.
DeleteAdmission FREE? Looks like an interesting place to check out on unique bags and dresses 😍

ReplyDeleteShe used a very special paint that is imported from abroad, am guessing in Italy where Dolce & Gabbana use it too.
DeleteI swear people are so creative out there. I wish I had a little more creative juices in my body because stuff like this I think is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is very inspiring to be creative nowadays because people are tend to learn to appreciate arts, compared 20-years ago.

ReplyDeleteExactly! No wonder she hired lots of bodyguards to make sure the bags are safe :)
DeleteThose purses are beautiful! They must have taken such a long time with such presiion. They're beautiful
ReplyDeleteOh the longer it takes, the more expensive the bag costs.

DeleteWow! As a painter I have seen people who have painted jackets and jeans. I might take a purse and paint it and see how that goes! I love purses, but I could never spend a ton of money on one purse. I love to change it up. These are beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteHello Sheila,
DeleteYou can try painting you bags too.
I have also wondered what if I also paint my dresses and bags the way Love Marie did? I would probably regret it the day after but who knows? :))

ReplyDeleteThey are absolutely gorgeous! Ohh wait I need to order my fabric paints now, as in ASAP.

ReplyDeleteLOL yes I would faint when I have a Birkin in my closet.
DeleteI love this statement: "Conventional people might not understand my passion on such things." I get told that all the time about my love of language and other "weird" things.
ReplyDeleteI agree. But as long as our passion make us happy, what they are saying isn't important :)
