UPDATE: JUNE 2016 - Tulips of various colors blossoming at Qitai farm's Yiwanquan scenic spot, in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The 4A-rated Yiwanquan Scenic Spot belongs to the Xinjian Production and Construction Corps' Sixth Division and lies on the north side of the renowned Tianshan Mountains. Earlier this year, 100,000 tulips from 29 species were planted on 2700 meters of blank land. They are in full bloom after being carefully cultivated by Qitai farm workers.

Over 20 million brunches of tulip blossoms in East China's Jiangsu Province
Azalea blossoms are perhaps one of the most passionate pigments of Mother Earth to dress itself. Recently azalea is in full bloom in Wuhan, the provincial capital of Central China's Hubei province, attracting numerous visitors. Some of them don ancient costumes for nice and artistic photos in the sea of flowers. Flower tourism is a blueprint strategy of Wuhan Municipality.

Citizens ride in Liuzhou, South China's Guangzi Zhuang Autonomous Region. During spring, leaves and flowers in Liuzhou attract many tourists.
Picturesque scenery shows flowers in full bloom in an ancient village in Southeast China's Jiangxi province.
Located in the northeastern part of Wuyuan, east China's Jiangxi province, the ancient village of Chapingtan is built on a mountain with an altitude of 1,000 meters. This village is decorated with blooming flowers and enjoys a good commanding view of the rolling mountains, attracting the attention of many shutterbugs.
Located in Qujing City in Southwest China's Yunnan province, the magnificent view of the sea of rape seed flowers in Luoping County makes it one of the most popular travel destinations in China during spring.
China's largest flower field at Yangzhou's Marco Polo Flower World is certain to amaze visitors to the city, in Jiangsu Province. The park has collected different species of flowers from across the world. Designed by renowned Dutch landscape architect Niek Roozen and his team, the park is divided into seven (7) themed sections.

The sea of pear flowers covers the vast area in Yinzhuang Village of Suning County in north China's Hebei province. It covers an area of 2667 hectares, attracting many tourists!

And also to encourage their own people to travel locally, than overseas coz it means additional income for the local community, than spending it in other countries.

DeleteCherry blossoms trees and Lily flowers are my favorite type of flowers, and I can't help but being totally cheer up when seeign one of those! Unfortunately we don't have so much in Paris, and in Tel Aviv either. It's not the kind of places where you could ever find those magnfinifient flowers! I'm so glad you mentionned those places! I really want to fly to China, so I'd love to go there and just lose myself around them! x

The pictures you took and matched them together telling this story are totally awesome. I like visiting off the beaten path places and being close to nature.
