I bet you'll gonna like this newest capsule collection by Prabal Gurung.
PRABAL GURUNG collaborated with Pokemon on a capsule collection, a mixture of playfulness with style and sophistication. Made for a modern, intelligent woman with sharp sense of humor, this capsule collection features nine pieces with subtle silhouettes of several Pokémon, inspired by their unique characteristics and color palette.
The Prabal Gurung customer is always a strong, passionate, global and modern woman. With this collection, we engage a younger clientele who still embraces our elevated sense of style. Working with the Pokémon brand provided a fun and whimsical opportunity to be able to have a conversation with this youthful customer. – Prabal Gurung
Prabal Gurung expertly captured the joy of the Pokémon brand and its iconography in his designs for this fun and sophisticated collection. We’re thrilled to team up with him for this collaboration during our 20-year celebration as Pokémon builds its fashion program and the ways in which its millions of fans can express their love for the brand. – Karen Eggleston, senior manager, Licensing, The Pokémon Company International
Fans of both the designer and Pokémon will have fun finding the details and inspiration in each style. The collection features nine-pieces inspired by the vibrant colors, textures, silhouettes and spirit of five iconic Pokémons: Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander.

This is such a fun collaboration! I love the white dress the most with Pikachu patterns. These pieces are expensive but they can be a source of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite dress too! I'm thinking actually of DYI-ing of my own, Pokémon inspired :D
DeleteWhat really pretty outfits! I don't play Pokemon but my kids like it.

ReplyDeleteHello Shane,
DeleteYou can pull it off! Add some confidence and viola, you are ready to strut your avenue :D
While I am a Pokemon trainer, I don't think I am addicted to the game. Nonetheless, I was hoping that these dresses would have elements of Pokemon but somehow, I don't see any, unlike the Tony Moly Pokemon Go collection. Is there something wrong with my eyes?
ReplyDeleteLOL Nope Emily, nothing wrong with your eyes.
DeleteBut we can't help that many industries are collaborating with Pokémon because its phenomenal!
Just absolutely a wonderful collection! I cannot find one dress or shoe here that I dont love. All with beautiful and vibrant colours.

DeleteWhat cute clothes. They make some unexpected combinations with the fabric and cuts, but they somehow work out. The sheer skirt with the clunky sweater looked odd at first but is starting to grow on me.
ReplyDeleteI think these will be fabulous during Spring and Summer :D And also a great ice breaker!
DeleteSuper cute clothes. I so need to lose weight so I can fit back in to cute clothes.
ReplyDeleteHello Valerie,
DeleteLose weight to be healthy... and just to fit for these clothes should be a later reason :)
Good collections for Pokemon Go fans. Beautiful photos and style! Love it.
