Hello Girlfriends!
Another Korean skincare review and I know this skincare seems very new to most of you.
You all know that when I found something amazing that works on my skin type then I would be happy to share it with you.
This is what I love about Korean skincare – the industry doesn’t stop and tire of discovering new products for their growing market, and it’s very fascinating to learn more about them and including its ingredients.
Just like recently, I was reading my Facebook feed when I stumbled about the benefits of horse oil to our skin.
Such a beautiful horse, right? And yes, the horse oil comes from the horse – dead horses!
So what is horse oil that makes everyone so crazy about (including me!)?
During the early days in the East particularly in China, many people are said to be using horse oil to treat a huge number of diseases, including as a cure for burns, rashes, and insect bites. The fat is purified and deodorized to remove that awful smell. Nowadays, horse oil is now being used in therapy, cosmetology, and even surgery. This substance is very rich in essential amino acids like keratin which helps us to have that glowing healthy nails and hair, making our hair shinier and full of vitality.
And yes horse oil comes from dead horses.
But the horse farmers don’t raise horses just for these horse's oil. When horses are butchered for their meat, farmers are making extra cash by selling their horse oil. During the early days, horse oil are being used for soap making (well even nowadays) and eventually many beauty and cosmetic companies are buying these oils and add as main ingredients to make our favorite creams.
Horse oil has become more popular because it’s sterilized and known to be very absorbent to the skin.
It might be sound really bizarre, but knowing that most early Asians are very adventurous with many ingredients, animal fats including horse oil are now being used in a variety of skincare products.
Because of this curiosity I’ve asked my Korean skincare supplier if they have available products with horse oil. Then I stumbled with these Ra&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Horse oil and Whitening Cream.
These Ra&Gowoori Real Kill creams are the latest craze in the online Korean skincare community.
Without blinking, I messaged my supplier and ordered one of each, for my trial and review and paid for my bill including the shipping cost.
After the New Year’s holiday, I’ve got an issue with some acne on my cheeks and it was annoying because it always leaves dark spots on my face. Before applying these creams first I diligently remove my day make-up (especially if I wear any) then wash it through using my double cleansing technique using my current favorite cleansing oil and cleansing foam facial wash.
I made sure that I’ve toned my face and applied my essence and serum, before enjoying this horse oil cream.
This RA&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Horse Oil cream is coming popular online because of its very absorbent properties and also helps to easily heal some small scars and bumps. Some even used it for their underarms and claims to disappear their chicken skin due to frequent plucking.
I’ll let the horse oil cream absorb for few minutes, then I apply the RA&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Whitening Cream.
You might be wondering why am using a whitening agent, whereas you already know that many whitening products are not effective on me. This is whitening cream has proven to be a good whitening agent for more, and am glad that it works on them. I’ve been using this cream along with the horse cream to remove those dark spots brought by my previous acne. And guess what? It is effective!
Ra&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Whitening Cream might not help me lighten my face, but really helps to lighten those dark spots – and making them disappear!
I’ve been using these both creams for 3 weeks now, day and night very diligently and I am happy to share the result!
Me after three weeks of diligently using Real Kill creams! It’s amazing! No makeup, just fixed my eyebrows and wear some lipgloss. It made my skin more glowing, smooth like a baby.
Dark spots are now gone and an am happily go out with less make-up on!
… and with a hint of light make-up but focuses more on my eyebrows, hahaha
And another photo (in pikura background) with a light make-up on. Yes! Because I have achieved healthy glowing skin, I don’t need to wear heavy makeup with layers and layers of foundations on.
Very luxurious looking Ra&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Whitening Cream (Php440.00) and Ra&Gowoori Real Kill 9.9 Horse Oil (Php440.00)
Where to buy these creams?
Contact my Korean skincare supplier Anna Garcia via her Facebook.
xoxo, Blair
I need to find a new whining cream. I've been using the same one for years and love it but want to try something else. Thanks for sharing yours.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Saidah!
DeleteI like this brand because it is very gentle to my skin style, and also most Korean brands have less harsh ingredients. Though the whitening cream doesn't make me so white, but it helps to fade-away my blemishes and for me that good enough :)
Wow this is something that I would like to try. ❤ thanks for sharing this. As we grow old we need to take care of our skin- always
ReplyDeleteI agree Mhownai,
DeleteThat's the best investment that we have and we always carry it. So for my I don't spend much on clothing, shoes or make-up (most of the time I can get those for free). So skincare are the best.
You should try it :)

Your skin looks great! I never heard of this product before. I have to look into the RA&GOWOORI Real Kill Horse Oil.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tasheena,
DeleteI think they also shipped overseas. These are came straight from Korea, thanks for my supplier for helping me out :)
Horse oil? I've never heard of such a thing. I'm not sure if I could ever use it--my mom is a horse lover. It might be from dead horses but then my mom would get sad because they are being butchered and such. But your skin looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHello Dear,
DeleteHere in Asia and in some parts of Europe, horses are being harvested as meat, just like sheeps, goats, cows, etc. But because horses are quite the most pricey one, the horse fats (which are very minimal, because of its well fitted figure) are also harvested and being sold to cosmetic companies.
Can see a big different on your skin after using it. I want to try it too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane! Ah I have to diligently apply it like day and night... Even am so tired and just want to sleep, I forced myself to do my skincare routine, hahaha
DeleteThe struggle is sometimes real :)
Seems very promising!!! Would need to check it out soon and I have not heard of this brand before! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's quite new in the market. And because am so adventurous in trying new skincare products, I bought it.
DeleteAnd am glad my skin responds positively :)
This review is great. First time of reading about horse oil. I had always thought olive oil was the best. I also have had knowledge of tomato plant working great for acne as I am a plant biology graduate. Thanks for this informative review article!
ReplyDeleteThis could really work for my post-period acnes if only I can get it down to my country.
Thank you dear!
DeleteOlive oil is also great, but am not a fan of its scent :) But also great for the hair.
Diminishing dark spots certainly are a challenge but I am glad that the products worked well for you. Never really knew much on horse oil too- but will certainly take note of this ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you dear, and am happy to share this good skincare :)
DeleteGeeee... I would so love to try horse oil if there was no mention about the oil coming from dead horses. They just sounds so creepy!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha but you didn't know you soap you are using have animal fats that also comes on dead animals :)
DeleteThis reminds me of something the people here in the Appalachian area do! They use something called "utter butter." It's supposed to be used on cows, but apparently there are benefits to human skin too!
ReplyDeleteyes, animal fats have the similar components on humans so it is used in cosmetics and skincare.
DeleteLove your natural look and it seems like the cream did some magic thing here!
ReplyDeleteWow, can't wait to try this! I'm always on the lookout for new beauty products. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Rana :)
DeleteIt really made a difference in your skin. More glowy and healthy.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear! And I love it :) And not too expensive.
DeleteThe product name is pretty intimidating to be sure....hahaha but I love the packaging... Will look into checking this out too....
ReplyDeleteLOL I know right! At first I was thinking, "Why they name it as Real Kill?" it sounds very terrifying, LOL.
DeleteBut when I used them and see the results... OMG It's REAL KILL!
I heard that horse oil can also makes your pores visible and cleans up the blackhead.
ReplyDeleteYes it makes your pores smaller, less visible (because of the nutrients it has) and gets rid of blackheads.
DeleteI've heard so much about horse and the effect that it has on you is really great! Can you just use the whitening cream alone rather than both?
ReplyDeleteYES you can use the Real Kill whitening cream alone, or both. It depends on your skin type :) You can also use the whitening cream as base for your makeup.
DeleteI am reading good posts about korean products and I would like to try one, I might consider this too. Its nice that they keep on improving too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anosa, ohh dear start shopping now!
DeleteI heard a lot about Korean face products. I might give these a try since you gave then such a good review. :)
ReplyDeleteOh you must shop now Milica!
DeleteGreat product review, love all the photos. I need to check this product out. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Anna :)
DeleteI've always been super leary of whitening agents for skin- anything that has the potential to make my skin lighter kind of turns me off, but I can understand using it for particular scars and dark blemishes on skin. Glad to hear it works!
ReplyDeleteWhitening creams are very popular (and a must) here in Asia, and its been a pat of our culture :)
DeleteYour skin looks awesome. but I'm not sure I'm liking the idea of horse oil. It being from dead horses really weirds me out.
ReplyDeleteIt is just a by-product and perfectly safe and clean... you don't know but your soap also have animal fats that comes in dead/butchered animals :)
Deleteomg these products look amazing! I have not ever heard of horse oil (the horse pic looks so cute btw), and if the photos are non-edited, then omg did it actually works like snail cream?! should find chance to give these a try!
ReplyDeleteOh you better try it dear!
DeleteWow! Your skin really turns out fair and smooth!
ReplyDeleteThank you shini!
DeleteCan we order from you supplier too?
ReplyDeleteHello Irene, yes of course! You can message her on Facebook and tell her that I refer you to her :)
DeleteThis product seems amazing. his is the first time I am hearing about horse oil. I am definitely gonna give this a try!
ReplyDeleteThanks dear!
DeleteThere are also many brands of horse oil, and it is also sold in Europe.
It's great to see that it works so well for you! Interesting to learn more about Korean products via your blog. I'm glad it worked really well, and your skin looks great. Great that you also explain how the product has been made!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carola,
DeleteWith so many skincare products all over the world, it is very necessary to discuss and explain how does these products was born, and not only its uses and effects. Consumers must understand its origin first and I think its vital.
Does it suit acne skin? Will they ship to Malaysia? The product look good.
ReplyDeleteHello Betty,
DeleteYeah they shipped in Malaysia. You can contact my supplier through her Facebook account. Some avid user use this horse oil to combat the armpit chicken skin, and voila - it freakin disappear!
good product, so true to what is said of it in the post here, dont know much baout it but this is great stuff i gotta recommend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting! Keep on exploring my blog :)
DeleteHi! I'm curious, how are you using the creams together during your skin care routine?
ReplyDeleteHello April,
DeleteI include it to my usual before bedtime skincare routine after cleansing. Just follow the basic rules of applying the lighter solution of skincare, and last it the thickest.
Most of the time I let the horse oil stay overnight to my face :)
Hello! I was wondering how you do your skin care routine with these two creams? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI used them after my usual cleansing routine, before bedtime. I use the horse oil and let it stays overnight. While the whitening creams, I used it in the morning. I only apply thin layers during weekdays, and apply thicker during weekends :)
