Art is a form of expression of feelings, your passion, hopes and dreams.
Sometimes, art is also a means to heal from depression (just like Hollywood celebrity Jim Carey), or a means to express your desires (just like my friend Rachel in Germany).
As part of my recent experiential luxury tour at Okada Manila with my bestie, we’ve checked this exhibition located at the Retail Boulevard, Coral Wing.
Presented by Okada Manila and The Artologist Gallery, PANORAMA is an ongoing exhibition of the art pieces created by known Filipino artists Mike Pastorizo and Eman Santos.
I’ve learned to appreciate art pieces especially paintings since the young age of 5. My parents gave me this encyclopedia of paintings around the world and I was so happy reading and admiring those pictures and feeling like I won a lottery when I have it.
And that also the beginning I felt that I want to visit every gallery, museums and even travel the world just to see those in real life.
I never find it boring, but I truly admit that I am easily get lured with colors and expressions just like these paintings.
Am honestly not too familiar with these artists per se, however I could feel exactly their desires and thoughts through these paintings.
The strokes and colors are beautifully blended with stories of passion and desires.
I find it very relaxing just staring of these pieces!
And I’m so thankful for the Okada Manila security staff for allowing me to take some photos of these magnificent creations. You see, not all galleries and exhibits allows to take pictures of them.
Two of my favorites, especially this Mother and Child theme. Isn’t they are gorgeous?!
I wish I could meet Mike Pastorizo and Eman Santos in person and tell them how much I admire their works.
These artworks are available on sale. Visit Okada Manila for this exhibition. Free admission.

I love the earthy colour and flowing lines of the artwork - gorgeously done! A sign of meaningful art is how it can evoke emotions, and I must say that the images portraying motherhood were especially evocative for me. Obviously, it's due to how motherhood has shaped my own journey in life. But it's amazing how these artists can create such meaning in portraying what is both a universal and deeply personal experience :)
