Being an adult is challenging.
Ms. Marites Allen during an intimate lunch at Marco Polo Ortigas together with other media people.
Why?
If you take a look at this chart, and try to add those numbers horizontally, or vertically, the result will be number 9.
Example : Horizontally: 8 + 4 + 6 = 18
18 / 2 = 9
Vertically : 6 + 2 + 1 = 9
And this only happens once every 9-years, and 2018 is the prosperity year!
Isn’t it awesome!
Thank you Ms. Marilen :D

After listening to her sharing her knowledge and advices she gave to some media people asking for their fortunes, I’ve asked her spontaneously about nine (9) practical advices she could give us Filipino Millennials. And I’ve glad that she gave us her insights.
1. Be aggressive
It is not the time to be complacent, so be aggressive to get what you want in life, your dreams, not to race ahead of others but for self-improvement.2. Be Confident
Because of social media, some youth and others are becoming depressed and losing they confident.3. Make time for the family
Although we are very busy growing up and with our own lives, we must give time to our family, especially with our parents who are growing old.4. Be Godly in Your Ways
Makes sure you are still in touch with your religion and what your parents taught you to do.5. Be knowledgeable on what happening these days
There are many other things that millennials has to learn as well. Do not be confide on what is only happening to your locality, region, etc. but also be aware of what is happening in the country as well.6. Be hospitable
7. Be responsible
Be factual and be truthful when posting online, and always think twice before posting anything. Remember there is always two side of the story.
8. Finish your education
Never abandon the chance / opportunity to complete your education. The only thing that our parents can give us is education.
9. Be loyal to your country

ReplyDeleteDo it the right way, with moderation, and right motivation.
DeleteThanks for visiting Dalene!
Maybe 'assertive' would be an appropriate alternative for 'agressive'? Personally, I think the latter comes across as a bit too strong and violent. But it's a great idea to analyse the steps we should undertake to reach our goals.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sophie on your insight :)
DeleteHowever, that's the advice from a master. Being aggressive is more appropriate, to make an strong awareness.
The assertive word is quite not so strong.
