Boungiorno fellow Urban Women!
How many body lotions have you tried before you finally found "the one"?
I'm adventurous to try different products, and I take notes all the ones I love and like, and ditch all the ones that are useless. In body lotions, it doesn't necessary to be scented or having a good label. I'm after with the promising good effects it will give to my delicate skin.
About two months ago, I've bought OLAY Silky Berry Body Lotion at SM Aura Premier and I'd say I'm one of the happy customers of this body lotion. It has a berry sweet-scents that is not so overwhelming, and the texture is so smooth.
Benefits of Berries in our Skin
Berries (Strawberry, Blueberry, Raspberry, etc.) are rich in fiber as well as vitamins A and C, while low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. They are also a good source of antioxidants, and can be eaten raw, cooked with other foods, or dried for use in tea. No matter what form berries take in your diet, their many vitamins and nutrients can be good for your skin. Whether you suffer from acne, broken capillaries or splotchy skin, the nutrients in blueberries will help.
The antioxidants and phytochemicals found in berries help to neutralize free radicals, which might otherwise damage skin cells, leaving your skin with a younger and softer look and feel. A diet high in fat and carbohydrates can also encourage skin aging, so berries prevent aging by providing you with many needed nutrients while providing very low levels of fat and cholesterol.
There are several powerful antioxidants that appear in berries, including anthocyanins, quercetin, and vitamin C. Anthocyanins give berries their vibrant color, reduce inflammation, and may help prevent and manage arthritis. Anthocyanins work together with quercetin to help slow age-related memory-loss. Quercetin can also decrease the inflammatory effects of chemicals in the synovial fluid of the joints for people with inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.
Vitamin C is another strong antioxidant found in berries. It is largely responsible for the health of collagen, which helps maintain cartilage stores and aids in joint flexibility. Eating vitamin C–rich berries will contribute to radiant skin and healthy hair, and may reduce the risk of arthritis, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
OLAY Silky Berry Body Lotion is making my skin so soft and smooth, giving me 24 hour-moisture, and I love it! It easily absorbs skin, not greasy at all. With all the good benefits the berries are giving us, this body lotion is a sure deal!
OLAY Silky Berry Body Lotion is available at most huge beauty stores (mine I got it from SM Aura Premier). Here's our shopping tip: If you are still confused about this product, just buy it in a small container. And then when you also proves its good effect on you, then I suggest you buy the bigger bottle. As you can see, you'll save more !
