Josie Natori, the lingerie and sleepwear pioneer, is excited to announce the launch of her eveningwear collection, Josie Natori Evening, for Resort 2016.
Shifting her focus from underpinnings to gala attire, Josie took many of the elements that made her loungewear famous: fine silks, embroidery, intricate beading, and moved them to pieces for wearing outside the home.
Josie had this to say, “It was really time to do an evening collection. My customers had been asking about it for a while – a collection that showcases the artistry of the Natori world.” The evening collection will debut late November 2015 and feature a lineup of gowns, cocktails and shifts that came about in response to customer demand. Black, cream, gold and ivory are all key colors in the collection. Duchess satin, pebbled silk cloque and lace are the statement materials, with hand embroidery and beading completing the look.
“This collection is a continuation of the Natori brand DNA. I want to dress my customers for all parts of their lives – from the bedroom to the boardroom. It makes so much sense – beautiful gowns to go over my beautiful lingerie.” Josie said. Joining her sleep, lounge, home, accessories and RTW, the evening collection fills the last category of the Natori universe.
