Has anyone of you have tried anything, as in ANYTHING just to get slimmer?
I, on a contrary, haven’t tried - well except my regular exercise (nor am I not obsessing about getting slimmer).
So last weekend, I was doing a monthly inventory of the goodies I’m receiving from various brands, and it’s quite fun – fun coz I’m having these goodies for free, and yes I save a lot of my personal finances for buying what I want. And yet, sometimes it’s quite tedious to monitor these goodies and update my inventory list. But anyway, at least I have something to do.
I got this quite interesting goodie – the White Glo whitening toothpaste, which will help users to “crave-away” their appetite.
Sounds interesting, right?
Yes, it is…. And also hilarious.
So just like any other local brand whitening toothpaste, White Glo also promises users to have whiter-and-shiner teeth and also helps to suppress their uncontrollable appetite and reduce food cravings.
Yeah, Neko it is – well as the label says so…
This toothpaste promises to have you whiter teeth and confidently have a slimmer body.
WTF is this?!
This toothpaste has a very odd taste, not unlike your typical toothpaste with minty fresh. Each time I use it, it makes me puke actually. Very odd taste… Ewww!
It’s like chewing this mixture of raw nuts and unknown berries!
This White Glo Whitening and Appetite Control Toothpaste have three main ingredients that help to suppress your appetite:
*Nux Vomica – This is commonly used as a natural remedy for many different symptoms and disorders, this comes from an evergreen tree that is native to China, East India, Thailand, and Australia. Some believe that nux vomica has anti-inflammatory properties, and contains powerful antioxidants. Its flowers are also believed to have antibacterial properties.
* Fucus Vesiculosus – also known as bladderwrack, this is a type of seaweed. This contains varying amounts of iodine, which is used to prevent or treat some thyroid disorders. This also contains align, which can act as a laxative to help the stool pass through the bowels.
* Garcinia Quaesita – this subtropical fruit is native to Indonesia. It produces a pumpkin-shaped fruit that is said to be known in Asia as a fruit that has the ability to suppress appetite. It says that when garcinia blocks the enzyme, citrate lyase, it prevents the conversion of carbohydrates to stored fat. Instead, it encourages the burning of carbohydrates to generate energy immediately.
Having these three natural ingredients, no wonder why they taste so odd!
It seems that everyone is getting obsessed with getting slimmer… you are already size 2 and still, you want to be size-lower. And I was like “not unless your bones can shrink then you do.”
I do understand that some are getting stressed out to stay slim and still fit on those dresses you’ve been stored in your wardrobe for years, but I have to say it is more important to be healthy.
If you are also one who will try everything to get slimmer, maybe you could also try this toothpaste.
But does it works?
Certainly not for me. It doesn’t work on me.
Maybe it helps me to clean my teeth and have a fresher breath, but to lose appetite and suppress food cravings? Geez, this is a complete joke!
I would advise not to let your kids use this toothpaste coz, we never know if the ingredients might harm their sensitive mouth.
If you are still insisting, you can get this funny toothpaste at Watsons Stores nationwide.
Have you tried this so-called crave-away toothpaste? Share your thoughts here!
xoxo, Blair

ReplyDeleteHello!
DeleteI was surprised actually when it was included in my goodie bag when I attended one even launch. This product is made in Australia (which makes me think, does this product works on them?).
Thanks for visiting!
What really? I don't like this though, I recommend you to simply drink in the morning a lot of lemon water to start your day and throughout it instead. It does help to reduce your appetite

Hello Thuymi,
DeleteYES Lemon gives us undeniable usages, I love it!
Cheers,
This definitely sounds interesting and I would purchase one to try (at least cleans my teeth if I still have cravings).
ReplyDeleteHello Ruxandra,
DeleteYeah, this product might not work on getting you slim, but at least it helps to clean our teeth :)
I'm not planning to buy after I've finished this sample tube :)
Well, this is an interesting title! I surely caught my attention. I have really never heard of this tooth paste before! It sounds surreal lol. Or it sounds like the toothpaste tastes so bad, that you can't eat anymore. Depends on the price if I'd even think about trying this. If it would work it's to big pro's though: Brushing your teeth often ánd eating less..
ReplyDeleteHello Carola,
DeleteYeah, and the only Pro of this is it can clean our teeth. It's still a tooth paste!
What an interesting idea for a product. I wonder if it's available in the UK and for how much?
ReplyDeleteHello Jon,
DeleteI just visited our nearest beauty store (where they sell this) and it costs US$6.00
I believe it is also available in UK. I also stumbled on other FB group page about this brand looking for UK-based bloggers for its online promotions.
didnt know a product like this even existed. the things that are being invented wow
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteThings that are created because there are demands - on getting slimmer.
When I read the title I was like how could I look slimmer if my teeth are whiter!? Then I read the whole thing, unbelievable! I would definitely try it out!
ReplyDeleteHello Borka,
DeleteYeah, you should try it, and hope it will work on you. Mine didn't coz I do LOVE to eat, hahaha
Is it really works? I doubt, if it increase the sensitivity then ??
ReplyDeleteHello Savita,
DeleteThis toothpaste doesn't work on me, you know its slimming effect.. But it can clean my teeth so I still use it until I empty it. Can't throw a free toothpaste, LOL
Sounds interesting, maybe even that it could work. But I am a special bug I guess, I bought a lot of those nail polish that prevent you from biting my nails and it never worked!

Hahaha I know the feeling Tina,
DeleteOur minds (and our heart) could only control what we like or want, and our actions. Most of the time when we heard "you can't" our mind will tell us "nope, you should try, nothing to lose." LOL
