How I Sport My Inner Scarlett Johansson Using Huawei P9

Hello fabulous ladies!

How’s your weekend? Mine got soooo effin fabulous, and my apology because that kind of fabulousness was chosen to be kept personal (*wink *wink)

But there is one fabulous thing that I couldn’t help sharing. And I know, especially for those smartphone photographers, Instagrammers, and most bloggers like me will surely like.

For a fashion and lifestyle blogger like me, having a reliable camera is a must. Three years ago, I’ve bought my sassy red Nikon D3100 and became my best ever reliable camera (and still it is and I love it!).

My blogging life becomes more motivating, though I admit I haven’t played yet all the special functions of my D3100 but then I will soon!

But like they always said, the only constant in this real world is CHANGE, and there are times you have to be open for it (or you will end up like remains of the past enclosed in a glass).

I remember about 6-months ago, I was crossing the street from Market Market mall to Serendra when my eyes got caught with this signboard of two of my favorite humans on earth: Scarlett Johansson and Henry Cavill – both sporting the newest Huawei P9 smartphone. I admit that I find their ad so chic and sexy (in my definition) which I thought “Damn I wish to have that phone!” I knew instantly that I like it – it’s like LOVE or lust???) at first sight! LOL

My thoughts might find you super funny – yeah even my friends really laugh about my thought, but that’s how I describe the things I want.

But hey, who on Earth would find these two creatures not beautiful?!!! Whoever suggested getting these two is a genius!

But in this situation, am not an impulsive buyer (Allelujah!)

I’ve decided to think about it for weeks and if the feelings are still the same (or more intense) then I will grab it.

Then a huge surprise came in. After two months of slightly ignoring my desire for that smartphone, Huawei Philippines sent me a Huawei P9 unit in a gold case, the exact unit that I’ve been lusting! Woooraayy!

I got soooo effin excited I almost orgasm, LOL

And who wouldn’t??? It’s an effin FREE PHONE FROM A HUGE MOBILE COMPANY!

And it’s the exact phone that I am wishing for, for months, duh.

I might not (yet) see Scarlett Johansson and Henry Cavill in flesh, but at least now we have something in common. And that is something special for me.




Another thing that I love about my Huawei P9 (aside from their brand ambassadors) is the fact that Huawei P9 has an incredible camera lens that captures beautiful photos, to some point that D3100 had to enjoy its days-off, LOL.

In a historic pairing, Huawei and Leica have joined together to create a stunning dual-lens camera in a smartphone, offering more light and better clarity for amazing photos and videos.

Last month during Huawei’s Fan Club Party in Guangdong, China – Scarlett shared her liking for Huawei P9.

As the ambassador of Huawei P9, Scarlett said that whilst she doesn't consider herself a great photographer, P9's excellent camera gives her greater confidence to capture every moment -- and that's a special thing.


And I agree with her! I’m no professional photographer either, and I love my Huawei!

Scarlett said that her favorite feature of the Huawei P9 is the "incredible camera", saying that she loves taking photos of her daughter (two-year-old Rose Dorothy Dauriac). She also praised that the phone, featuring an excellent quality camera, allows users to see the world through a different lens.

In addition, she described her partnership with the Huawei team as a "great experience" and said that working with a technology company for the first time had opened up a lot of new opportunities. She also highlighted her appreciation for the opportunity to work with Man of Steel star Henry Cavill and influential fashion photographer Mario Testino in the accompanying advertising campaign for the Huawei P9.

Huawei announced that Huawei P9 has reached 9 million in sales. It has been well received and loved by consumers around the world, some of whom are Scarlett's fans.

The event ended after a selfie with her fans and Scarlett mentioned that, as she did not participate in any social media, it was wonderful to come together with her fans in person and was touched by the love from her Chinese fans for her and her films.


So how did I sport my inner sassy Scarlett Johansson using my new phone?

Just like Scarlett’s I’m using my Huawei P9 to capture those fun and exciting moments of my recent blogging life. It’s convenient and not heavy (unlike when I used to bring my Nikon D3100), and captures totally clear images and videos in just a few touches.

Whenever I visit the UNIQLO Store, I can't help but snapped a photo of myself. You can't blame me - their wide mirrors are sooo tempting!






See how crisp those images are? No edit necessary, only the right focus and perfectly and maximizing the light available from the background. Definitely looks like captures by a DSLR, right?




Even the night photos are so fucking good! A total lifesaver for non-professional photographers!
