10 Reasons Why Mumuso is Your Happy Place to Shop

Do you love to shop? I rarely met someone who doesn’t, and if you are that person, maybe you just don’t know how to shop.

Keep on reading because I will teach you how!

Weeks ago, I was so busy and kind of stress with work and other stuffs that I decided to visit one of the happy place I know.

Yeah, Disneyland might be the happy place for most of us, but I need something more convenient and doesn’t need to buy airline tickets, and spend more (if you know what I mean).

I always told you that shopping is like a cardio for me (for those who doesn’t realized it – with shopping you have to walk back and forth, lifting shopping bags, and that is super tiring AF). And also my way to relax and clear out my thoughts….much better than whining your issues to your friends or family.

And yes, one of my happy place to visit is MUMUSO.

I am so thankful that they have two stores near my place – one in Market Market Mall, and the other inside the Venice Piazza Mall at McKinley – both are my favorites!

So here’s why I refer MUMUSO as a happy place to shop, and I know you too!

1. You will be greeted with staffers’ happy faces

I’m so busy and stressed at work, and the last thing I want to encounter is a grumpy looking faces of store’s staffers. Each time I visit their stores to unwind and though sometimes I have no intention to buying, I will end up buying at least one item because I felt good and pleased by their staffs. You will be always greeted with smiles, no matter how busy they are.

Some of you might experience it differently, and we know that not all store staffs are perfect. And I believe that MUMUSO is continuously training their staffers to provide a good services to all their customers.

2. When you get confused, staffs are ready to help you!

When I had my recent grand MUMUSO haul, I got a little confused or rather overwhelmed with tons of their beauty products, and I want to grab them all! Staffers would be so glad to help you, and share suggestions of what you should buy, helping you on your decision-making in order for you not to regret of over-buying stuffs.

3. Products are arranged and packed neatly.

I’ve been to many beauty stores and shops around the metro and some known malls, and I am very observant how they managed their beauty stalls and booths. At MUMUSO, products are all arranged neatly and strategically. Beauty products and skincare items are all packaged in well-sealed plastic (and wow, I got a hard time removing the plastic seal though, ahahaha) to avoid spill, and be contaminated. Their make-up section are well arranged and no smudging lipstick displayed, but have available testers to help you for your buying decision-making. Beauty staffers would be happy to give you a full-makeover so you can try their items before you buy. My experience with them is so awesome, unlike that Revlon lady previously.

4. It’s a one-stop store

They have beauty and skincare items, home items, bath and body, fashion accessories, and even children’s toys – all in affordable prices that definitely won’t ripped your monthly allowance. Since I’m into a shopping mood, each time I turn my head I see something so adorable and useful. I got my multifunctional mobile phone lens for just Php329.00, that cleansing cotton pads in 400pcs for just Php149.00, a new fluffy vanity headband for just Php99 and some of makeup and skincare.

5. Labels are customer-friendly

Have you ever visit a store that sells products and you don’t understand its label? At MUMUSO, I noticed that they diligently make the labels customer-friendly. Aside from those Chinese and Korean labels printed on its boxes and packaging, they also add an English translation. MUMUSO could accommodated all their customers, especially for those visitors from these countries that doesn’t read English. They invested on designing and printing their own labels and phase-out the old labels (yeah it’s a huge costs for the company to design their own, but branding is more important).

Isn’t is awesome how thoughtful they are?!

6. Products are all budget-friendly.

We all know that not all customers can afford many upscale products that you’ve been seeing from your IG or Facebook account, or being endorsed by your favorite influencers. So as much as you want to have it all, you can’t because let’s be honest – you can’t afford them. Yeah, I’ve been there and I know exactly the feeling – we even sacrifices of budget for foods and sometimes bills, just to buy the beauty items that we want. And of course, I don’t recommend that you go full blown to this extend just to afford those products. At MUMUSO Philippines, they offer alternative products that are not only affordable and fit to our monthly budget, but also effective and useful. One of this is my favorite MUMUSO Active Exfoliating Hydrogel Cleanser (for only Php199) which is my alternative for that expensive CURE exfoliating cleanser that costs me Php1,500.00.

See that huge savings?! That’s Php1,301!!! I think this is my 3rd bottle now and I how it thorough cleanses and eradicate those dead skin cells and dirt, from my face down to my neck and even I use them to my arms and legs.

7. Not only they are friendly in-store but also online.

There are times that I need quick answers and I do messaging them via social media pages is also a practical thing to do, and to my surprised they make it a point to reply my inquiries. Not only to me, and also to many of their customers. They listen to many suggestions and never answer back bluntly to some of their critics. I would like to applaud their social media team for being so patient and professional!

8. Shopping at MUMUSO is like a family affair.

Yes I said it right. I noticed that each week I visit at these stores, families are getting busy picking their own items, and I would see kids so excited to grab those cute notebook, and puzzles! And if you are a budgetarian Asian Mom, you will definitely visit this store because they have everything. I think no one will go home empty handed.

9. MUMUSO Products are FDA-approved

Especially with all their beauty and makeup products, bath and body, and skincare products. All of these MUMUSO products are FDA-approved and passed the necessary licensing before it imports from their manufacturers in China going to the Philippines. Bureau of Customs and FDA Philippines are very strict in this law and as a vigilant shopper and KOL, I want to make sure that products that I buy and recommends passed doesn’t violate our country’s importation law. I’ve done my own extensive research using my own connections, and viola! MUMUSO Philippines is a brand that also trust.

10. It is proven that this store makes me happy.

Some of you would say that money can’t buy you happiness, and I think that is nonsense. Of course, if you are aiming for a full blown happiness then you can’t find it here on Earth – that is sure.

MUMUSO is a place that make me relaxed and helps to clear my cloudy mind, and it doesn’t matter if I spend a few bucks just to get that happiness and satisfaction. If you understand the exact feeling of a kid entering the candyland, then that’s me. You have to experience it and keep those shopping memories.

Meet Reah, the beauty staffer from MUMUSO Venice Piazza branch. She is very jolly and diligently help me decide which make-up products I should picked from her beauty corner, and even gave good recommendation. Her beauty belt contains all the samples you can try, and she is like a beauty genie who have it all! If you want a good beauty shopping experience, just look for her :D

OMG now you know my exact feeling about shopping in MUMUSO, and I would be so happy to know yours as well.

BTW here are my other items I’ve bought… its crazy! The more items I got is equivalent to the level of stress I had, LOL

Whenever I’m out of face mask, I use this travel compact mask and dipped with MUMUSO moisturizing gel (or use the gel separately). It save me a lot! And I also keep these compact face mask in all my luggage whenever I travel, and pour some toner with it.

Did I mentioned previously that it is a must to apply sunscreen lotion from face to toe? Yup, I also got this small sunscreen lotion from MUMUSO. It has SPF30 and is suitable to face and body, but use them more to my face especially when I’m in the office to protect my skin from blue-lights from my computer, smartphones, and office indoor lights. Plus they are so handy!

For a better, youthful looking hand – make it a habit to apply hand creams! I learned from an English gentleman that you can determine the age of a woman with her hand, and of course as much as possible we ladies want to conceal that fact. I also got a new volumizing mascara and liquid eyeliner, and this gold liquid lipstick also from MUMUSO. I was so thrilled when I saw this gold lipstick! I want to by the Revlon version but it was waaay too expensive for me, and this one is my alternative. Not bad!

This is my personal favorite from the MUMUSO beauty collection. MUMUSO have its own characters, and of the members of the family is the little cat named Anne.

Anne loves all things pink and loves the sakura, thus MUMUSO launched the Anne beauty collection. I love the pigmentation of these eyeshadow quad that give me a sweet day look, and add some hint of lipgloss for a kissable lips. The air cushion gives me a matte-dewey look with full coverage.

And for perfume lovers, did you know that MUMUSO also have a perfume collection?! I was so amazed that I bought these two eau de parfum. The MUMUSO Diamond Eau de Parfum have a top notes of lemon, bergamot, and orange blossoms, while the Midnight Lover scent has a top notes of rose and raspberry. There are many other selection of scent for both men and women and even cologne for kids! These might be super inexpensive but the scents are so good that doesn’t irritate my senses. If you have a dry skin, I recommend that you moisturize your skin first before applying your perfume, to improve the staying power of the perfume on you.

For daytime, I would wear the Diamond scent. These could be an ideal gift as well for your girlfriends, moms and titas! And don’t blame your boyfriends if they became clingier on you!

OMG next I will buy the other scents :D

Is MUMUSO belong to those phony or fake brands?

Recently, I’ve heard and watched that infamous video about their sister company in Vietnam, and causes mixed reactions to many audiences and customers in Vietnam and even here in the Philippines. But MUMUSO shoppers like me knows what we love and shop, and that’s the reason why we still LOVE the brand and their products and does gives us ultimate happiness and regards for ourselves. I’ve met many beauty and skincare manufacturers based in China, Taiwan, Korea, and Thailand during my regular attendance at the annual Philbeauty exhibitions hosted by UBM, and this platform helped me to understand more the beauty and skincare business. This is a good platform to meet your new manufacturers especially if you are planning to open your own beauty brands, which would fit to your business plan and your costs.

And here’s the FACT – many local beauty, skincare, bath & body brands, and even international brands are manufactured in China because of lower production costs, mostly located in Guangzhou City – known as the Silicon Valley of Beauty products. The technology and production are so advanced that no wonder many brands worldwide prefers China as their main manufacturing hub. PS. Am actually dreaming of Guangzhou City coz I heard that it is one of the beautiful destination in Asia!

I couldn’t help smiling while typing this story and how MUMUSO stores makes me happy. My shopping experience always gives me full delight, and whenever I’m in a downside mood again, I know that this store will always welcome me with smile.

Next time I’m thinking of buying those cuddly plush toys! Ohh they are soo huggable!
