Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines
Hello Beautiful!

You all know how much I love Korean beauty lines because I don’t find them boring and always have that pop of delight each time Korean cosmetic companies launch their new products.

And speaking of the Kbeauty launch, last month (exactly 24th of January) for the second time around, I’ve got invited by Yeppunonnie Philippines (IG: @yeppunonnieshop ) for their party launch held at one of the crazy fun clubs in the Metro – at Valkyrie, The Palace Pool Club Bonifacio Global City.

I’ve heard that many Kbeauty fans got crazily signed up and bought their tickets. And why not?

If you are a true-blooded Korean pop culture fanatic (am just a hybrid) you’ll truly appreciate it when a celebrity like Jay Park will perform live on-stage while you got to enjoy some drinks and trying on those new lipsticks and mascaras.

I honestly admit that this was one of the best parties (and a good start of 2017 for covering beauty events), and it’s hard to decline with this gorgeous team headed by Ms. Elena Castelltort of Yeppunonnie Philippines, which I know how much generous they are with their partnered media and bloggers.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

So even I have a very tight schedule, I’ve saved my 24th of January for this party, packed my blogging gear, wearing my boots, and head to Valkyrie to party like a Korean.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

I can’t remember the exact time I started falling in love with the Hallyu culture. But I do know is I started getting hooked when mainstream media keeps on sharing these relatable Kdramas that made us laugh, cry, be inspired, etc. and yes dreamed of someday – to experience traveling and exploring South Korea, especially the Jeju Island, walking around Seoul, and shopping your favorite beauty products in Gangnam.

PS. Hey, these are still on my bucket list!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Remember when Yeppunonnie Philippines had their first ever launch last October 2016? It was a blast, and I knew that exactly that it will be more blasting when I’ve received my invitation for the last month’s party. Having been this setup inside Valkyrie, I knew that I won’t go home disappointed.

I was excited then and ready to pump my energy as I work to cover the event and to mingle and party like Koreans do.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

The tickets are sold for Php2,500 each which consists of generous giveaways (that doesn’t include yet the free samples that were been giveaways by the exhibitors), plus 3 complimentary drinks – I think it was at least 5 choices of beers. (And if you like heavier shots, you have to pay for that).

And that also includes partying with Kpop celebrity artist Jay Park so definitely it’s a good deal ticket!

You know people that am not a nightclub-kind-of gal who could party all night long, but that night was different as it was work-related. You have to do what you gonna do, right, LOL.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

These people (mostly ladies) are so excited that night – and I’ve overheard that it was worth traveling 2 to 3 hours just to arrive at this nightclub (which is also their first time here!) so I understand the feeling.

Or perhaps some of them had to take a time off from school and work just to party with Yeppunonnie and Jay Park, right?!

These lippies are the TRUE MUST HAVES in your beauty bag!

So for those who haven’t attend this party and for those who had hesitation to attend (because yeah Yeppunonnie is a fresh new brand in the Philippines) am telling you ladies and gents that you’ve missed the fantastic party of 2017 and I know you are regretting it now AF.

But then I realized, I think it was a great hit only because of Kbeauty products but because of JayPark! It was a great idea that Yeppunonnie Philippines partnered with Ouniwang production which made this blast party a huge success.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Got an opportunity to talk with Marketing Brand Managers of these Korean cosmetics and learned a lot from its products and flourishing brands. I’ve also indulged myself in testing these numerous candy-like beauty products, and yes as long as I like them!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

But here’s the catch – they prioritizing beauty bloggers for receiving amazing samples, but hey we are NOT talking about those small packed samples that you always ended up not actually using.

When you attended a Korean beauty event and then promised to give you samples - they mean samples in actual sizes.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Just like this Holika Holika beauty booth which gave out tremendous lipsticks and their newest browcara from their latest collection, and these ladies are gone crazy! Yep including me as they gave me samples too! Love you Holika Holika! And kudos to the Holika Holika lady for her patience and she’s very accommodating.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines
And a shout-out to this gorgeous lady for giving me free lip crayons! Merci Bella!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

If you want some samples, you’ve got to approach the brand ladies and request one. And if you are a blogger (and not some so-called blogger overnight, which apparently a lot during the event) then you’ll be given more samples.

Well the principles of “What you see, is what you get” apply in Korean beauty events.

Amen to that!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Not only make-up but also giveaway skincare line just like this above.

You can feed yourself with this facemask, moisturizers, toners, hair care, etc. and there is no reason not to be beautiful after that event.

So aside from showcasing incredible Korean beauty brands and giving out samples to guests, we were also delighted with free make-up demonstration and taught us how do Korean ladies do their daytime make-up, up to the nighttime look, and even the party-look makeup!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

The make-up artist and brand manager of Make.Up Helper Cosmetics shared some makeup tricks with us.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Of course, you are familiar with how important for us ladies to have a well-dressed eyebrow and well-winged eyeliner, so there you have it!

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

And when midnight struck, the crowd gone wild and crazy as we were entertained by Jay Park’s music and live performance. Ahh, so this is how Kpop fanatic party (it was also my first time to attend a mini-concert by a Kpop artist).

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

What is it with Kpop artists that make us so cray cray?

I mean, most of us can’t literally understand each word they are saying, nor even the language of their music, but here we are pumping with raising arms and swaying our body to their music like it’s a good drug. There is something about Kpop culture that is so intoxicating it’s hard to understand unless you take part in it.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines
Okay, I think am a certified Hallyu fan now and it's one interesting event here in Asia.

So I ended up at the party as a happy girl (not drunk) and went home with lots of goodies with me.

Thank you Yeppunonnie Philippines and Ouniwang Production for inviting me and for those Korean beauty brands for giving me generous samples to try at home.

Am excited to share with you my full review of each product together with my previous Yeppunonnie hauls.

Kbeauty Fans, and Beauty Bloggers Partied with JayPark & Yeppunonnie Philippines

Hmmm, actually not so happy gal because I ended up throwing my boots after the party, LOL.

Never mind because these are just cheap boots that I’ve bought from SM Store (Parisian label) and used 5x …. Not bad actually!

Now I need to buy new pairs! Any suggestions?

xoxo, Blair

  30. And here I thought that the only place you could get a cosmetic demo was at the mall. Totally makes sense that there be high-end parties like this in exclusive venues.
