DeleteSo much choice and some of the destinations I have never heard of. I think my favourite would be the Six Senses in Vietnam - actually it looks so beautiful we may even pay a visit when we travel to Vietnam this year. A private villa with a pool sounds perfect for a break.

Thailand and the Philippines are two countries my husband and I have been planning to visit for a while, but didn't get to it yet. I had no idea that Taiwan was so beautiful though, so I should add it to our list too. Any of these secret hideaways would make a great place to visit, so I'm glad to have read about them.

Thailand has quite a few of them including some you have mentioned in your list. I woukd love to visit Dedon Island - Siargao Island, The Philippines which I have not ventured out into. DeleteBrilliant list. I live and have traveled across Asia quite a bit, and always love to find new properties. I'm at an age where comfort and a bit of luxury is more important to me, so these are wonderful options. Con Dao with the private pool for each villa is my favorite from the lot.
