Part of my regular hotel staycation is also exploring their in-house restaurant. During my recent staycation at The Grand Hyatt Manila, I got a chance to enjoy their sumptuous breakfast at The Grand Kitchen that comes free from my accommodation.
Located at one of the busy streets of Bonifacio Global City, The Grand Kitchen offers a wide variety of food for every palette and food lifestyle. From my room at 55th floor, I went down to the its floor as early as 6:00AM to enjoy their buffet breakfast.
This well-equipped and houses highly-trained chefs with very attentive staffs is one of the place that I enjoyed dining with. I picked a place farther from the main entrance so I could enjoy a perfect view of the whole floor, and enjoy the food peacefully. This dining place offers both international and local cuisine for all-day dining experience that can accommodate up to 240 guests.
Foods are prepared on-the-spot but don’t worry coz you wouldn’t be waiting forever to get your meal.
They make sure that everything is prepared with utmost quality for a better feast.
They have seven (7) sections – Cold, Wok & Steam, Fry, Soup & Noodles, Grill, Stove, and Fruits & Dessert – separated mainly by the cooking method used in each dish.
The salad section is amazing! It encourages you to create your own salad with all these many ingredients.
Seeing this whole floor makes me realized that I need a strategy in order to enjoy the foods they served. Sometimes I wish I have big appetite (same as I had years ago) so I won’t worry of getting full early.
If you are a vegetarian foods and also your friends, no worries coz they have lots of vegetarian dish available. You can also order a la carte is you like.
If you just like bread and pastries for breakfast and just paired it with hot brewed coffee, then this section is definitely your heavenly place. It was so good to watch how they diligently refill this section and making it look so pristine, and tempting.
Oh this Chinese foods are really sumptuous! The dim sums are very delectable that I forgot how many I consumed. They also have selections of sushi and maki.
Feast with this vast arrays of fresh fruit desserts and fresh fruit juices. You love kiwis? They have it!
You can also make your own coffee with this impressive coffee maker machine.
The Grand Kitchen is also a good place for your group dining experience with your friends, or treat your kick-ass employees here for a luxurious lunch. After all they deserve it after they have successful met their deadlines and making your clients happy.
I had a great time dining for buffet breakfast here at The Grand Kitchen. I just wish that mon amour was with me because I am pretty sure he will also enjoy dining here. We both shared the love for food, although like I’ve said I am no kitchen diva. But its okay, the Grand Kitchen will be my savior specially for special occasions.
Bon appetit!

ReplyDeleteI could stay here for a week if its free! Daaannng overnight alone is expensive!
DeleteWow this looks better than any hotel food I've seen. I usually skip the hotel restaurants all together in search of spots more authentic to where I'm traveling.
ReplyDeleteFor places like Bangkok, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, that trick would work but quite a challenge in the Philippines where only very few local restaurants available - all western.
DeleteThese food are making me hungry. And they made me miss home even more. I can't wait for my next vacation there.

DeleteI think good cuisine is just the culture of HYATT. I have stayed in several of their hotel both in and out of the USA and it's always phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on the chef and its staff, not the hotel per se.
DeleteWhen you have such a wide range of options available it becomes so difficult for me to choose. I normally wish to try out many dishes but do not have the appetite like before.
