24hrs in FIJI: The Good, The Bad, Covid 19, and Travel Visa

We all love to travel and explore the world, however restrictions suck!

Here's the vlog of my 24-hour stay in Fiji (that is supposed to be a 4-day vacation) but due to unexpected chaos and pandemic brought by Covid-19, our trip was ruined. However, even though it is just a short trip, we managed to enjoy the time. I am just thankful that we have the capability to make things happen even in a short period of time. I'm truly grateful, and thankful.

How about you? Does your travel plans also postpone? Or canceled?

  15. Sigh, how disappointing but at least you got a full 24 hours to see a little bit of Fiji. But at the end of the day it's important to stay safe and glad that you're home and all is well. I had a trip planned for India in September which I had to cancel.

  22. Ah! Too bad. This sucks when your vacation is cut.. Our annual vacation was also cancelled, but in our case, our onward journey ticket itself was cancelled, so yeah, we couldn't go to visit out families. Anyways, lets hope for the best!

  23. We certainly had our travel plans interrupted by COVID-19. And had to do a 14 day mandatory self isolation when we got home. If I was in Fiji, I sure would not have wanted to leave early. It was good that you managed to enjoy the time you did have. And that you managed to get home from there before the world shut down.

  26. I guess that we all have to adapt with our travel life to new conditions of lifestyle. I have never been to Fiji but whatever trip you take, I know how much work you do for planning and hope that everything will be well. I had to cancel a trip last fall and it was terrible, I can relate to your experiences pretty much.
