TICKETS

With Mobile myki, you can get a myki, top-up on-the-go, and touch on with your phone. Download Google Pay to get started.
FREE Tram travel
Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone can be used without a myki. It runs through the city centre, with major stops like Queen Victoria Market, Docklands, Spring Street, Flinders Street Station, and Federation Square.
The City Circle Tram is also free and does not require a myki. Hop on and off the historic trams as often as you like. How cool is that?!
Regional Victoria Trains
With the largest public transport network in Australia, Victoria’s trains and coaches can take you to many parts of regional Victoria. Simply make your way to one of V/Line’s booking offices at Southern Cross Station and the staff will help you plan your next adventure.

Victoria’s COVID Restriction Update:
•Masks remain mandatory on all Victorian domestic flights, at airports, in hospitals, on public transport, in taxis or rideshare vehicles, in large retail stores (over 2000 sqm), such as department stores, electronics stores, furniture stores or hardware stores or supermarkets, and inside shopping centres, including the retail stores inside shopping centers, such as clothing stores.
•You must always carry a face mask with you when you leave home unless you have a lawful reason not to.
•Wearing a face mask is strongly recommended whenever you can’t keep 1.5 metres distance from others.

We visited Australia around 2 years back and had used myki for local travel in Victoria trams. Free tram rides is something that I didn't know about.
