Ever since I learned to have fun with my own fashion style, I always keep on track of many Japanese fashion websites and diligently translated everything using Google Translate, or meticulously check each photo of many street-style fashionistas.
Tokyo fashion is absolutely my favorite.
The way they mix and match each piece, combining the old and the new, traditional and contemporary pieces from many local designers and thrift shops, including high-end luxury items with upcycled pieces - everything is perfectly blend-in!
I also noticed that most from Tokyo know their own style and don’t rely on the western style of fashion. Which in my opinion is impressive, as they are more confident to flaunt their unique personality and style.
The recent stylers from Rakuten Tokyo Fashion Week prove that they are at par in terms of sharing fashion inspiration with many of us.
