Same time last year, I posted about upcycling my stepson’s old school uniform pants and how I decorated them with Woolworths Disney Fix-ems I’ve collected. I had so much fun manually stitching them onto the pants, and I decided to continuously add more patches to it, and it's growing!
I’ve collected heaps of Woolworths Disney fix-ems with the help of my in-laws, and I reckon that this is one of the best collaborations Woolworths had with Disney.
Not only with the upcycled pants, but I also added more Disney fix-ems onto the old blue spray jacket. I’m not sure who owned it originally (maybe my stepson or his sibling), however, I made a few alterations and now the spray jacket is part of my growing collection.
My personal style changes depending on the season and mood, although one thing is certain – that I do love the kidult fashion.
Simply because it makes me happy and makes me feel more colorful and youthful!
Top – Sleeveless True Knit Turtleneck in Cobalt Blue (Kmart Australia)
Pants and Jacket – both upcycled
Crossbody bag – an old camera bag inherited from my husband
Eyewear – Oscar Wylee
Shoes – PUMA Mirage Tech Sneakers in Castlerock-Electro Green (SKU: 4063697549098)
I wished that I could be like the cool kids back in the day.
However, I knew then it wasn’t my time.
But now I found my way, and gladly I patiently wait.
Finally, I can say that I’m a cool kid!
@blair.villanueva I've been collecting #woolies #disneyfixems since last year amd I had so much fun decorating them on my upcycled clothes. I diligently handsaw them so that they won't peel off. Dear @woolworths_au please bring back your #fixems 🙏 🙏🙏❤️ #disney #disney100 #kidult #upcycledfashion #reworkedclothes #sustainablefashion ♬ Cool Kids (our sped up version) - Echosmith
