Dr.PAWPAW Skincare Review + Travel Light Packing Tips

Dr.PAWPAW Skincare Review
Bringing our mini travel skincare to our New Zealand trip!

Have you ever felt stressed whenever you pack your carry-on travel bag for a short holiday? If you do, then you are not alone.

After years of traveling here and there, I somehow managed to perfect my packing strategy and minimize the stress before the actual trip.

Packing for a short holiday overseas can be both exciting and challenging. The key is to pack smartly, ensuring you have everything you need without overburdening yourself with unnecessary items.

Here are some enthusiastic tips to help you pack your carry-on luggage efficiently for your next overseas adventure!

Start with the Essentials
First things first, make sure you have all your travel documents in order. This includes your passport, visa (if required), travel insurance, flight tickets, and any other necessary paperwork. Keep these in an easily accessible pocket of your carry-on. Many of those travel documents such as airline tickets are accessible from the airline app through your phone, so keep your phone with you. Don’t forget your charging cable.

Choose Your Carry-On Wisely
Select a carry-on that is lightweight, durable, and compliant with the airline's size restrictions. Choose one with multiple compartments to help organize your items and make them easily retrievable.

Clothing: Always Mix and Match
For a short holiday, versatility is key. Pack clothes that can be mixed and matched to create different outfits. Stick to a color scheme so everything goes well together. Remember, layers are your friend in unpredictable weather.

Go Mini with your Skincare
To comply with liquid restrictions, use travel-sized toiletries.
Recently, I found the perfect travel skincare that suits my needs. During my trips, I opt for a minimalist approach to skincare, while bringing my best essentials.

This 4-in-1 Face Serum by DR. PAWPAW (30ml) is my favorite. Combining the power of four serums into one, it soothes, hydrates, brightens, and reduces the appearance of fine lines. Not to mention that it also has Vitamin C that has been sourced from the Jeju Green Mandarin providing 10 times more Vitamin C for an instantly brighter complexion. It also has Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to retinol. Bakuchiol firms and smooths the skin, effectively preventing and reducing the appearance of fine lines without the irritation often associated with retinol.

The 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm by Dr. PAWPAW (50ml) acts as a makeup remover (including waterproof mascara), moisturizer, and second cleanser. It’s enriched with Papaya Seed Oil that cleanses and resurfaces the skin, removing any dead skin cells and allowing for the Olive Oil and the Jojoba Oil to nourish and moisturize.

I also got the Brightening Eye Cream by Dr. PAWPAW (15ml) with a rejuvenating effect and lightweight vegan formula. I also delicately applied it to the other areas of the face prone to fine lines, such as the eyelids, the forehead, and the top lip area. Also powered by Papayaluronic(™), the eye cream nourishes, soothes, and provides instant and long-lasting hydration.

For my nighttime skincare routine after using the first three tubes above, I also use the Rejuvenating Night Cream by Dr. PAWPAW (45ml), a multipurpose rejuvenating night cream that is a nourishing, age-renewal, vegan night-time ritual that can be applied to the face, neck, and décolletage.
This travel skincare set is always ready in my carry-on travel bag, and I don’t have to worry about weight limits and customs restrictions.

You can grab DR. PAWPAW travel skincare online at Priceline (Australia), and Beauty Bar (Philippines)

For other mini toiletries, I choose to bring my mini perfumes, and mini toothpaste with me, and everything fits in one toiletry bag. Don’t forget to grab a sickness tablet. You’ll never know when you need it.

Roll, Don't Fold
Rolling your clothes instead of folding them can save space and reduce wrinkles. Use packing cubes or compression bags to maximize space and keep your items organized.

Electronics and Entertainment
Pack only the electronics you'll use. A smartphone can double as a camera, map, and entertainment device. Don't forget the chargers and a universal travel adapter! I often bring a paperback book as my entertainment, to save my phone battery and freshen up my eyes from long screentime.

Hydration
Carry an empty water bottle to fill up after security to stay hydrated. You can always get snacks and food after the security checks.

Final Check
Before you head out, do a final check. Ensure you have essentials like medications, glasses/contacts, any sharp objects you must not carry, and any other must-haves for your trip.

Remember, the goal is to pack light and smart. With these tips, you'll be well on your way to a stress-free short holiday overseas.

Bon voyage!
