TOKYO LIGHTS is a festival of lights held at Meijijingu Gaien, sending a radiant message from Tokyo to the world.
Experience the fusion of cutting-edge technology and entertainment with immersive light displays. Highlights include the International Projection Mapping Competition, featuring top visual creators from around the globe, an Opening Ceremony by NIJISANJI, enchanting installations that synchronize light and music, and a mesmerizing drone and performer dance show featuring approximately 300 drones.
1minute Projection Mapping Competition
The "1minute Projection Mapping Competition" is a well-known international competition that started in Japan in 2012. It focuses on short projection mapping works lasting from one to just under two minutes. This year, the theme is "Mirror," and the competition received entries from 278 teams across 56 countries. 18 finalists from 14 countries are competing. The final battle for the top prize of 2 million yen and the title of the world's best will take place at the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery at Meijijingu Gaien.
Harry Sugiyama, a well-known TV host, will lead the award ceremony on the 16th, with actress and newscaster Aki Shibuya helping to add excitement as the co-host.

STAR DANCE: A mesmerizing low-altitude drone light show featuring approximately 300 drones and live performers.
GALAXY SYMPHONY: A massive coliseum where nearly 10,000 wirelessly controlled FreFlow® lights create an ever-changing symphony of illumination.
ETERNITY MIRROR MONOLITH: A towering 7-meter mirror and LED vision combine to reflect the future.

Admission and Tickets:
TOKYO LIGHTS 2024 is free admission (pre-registration required, about 10,000 people each day) and is open to everyone.
The projection mapping viewing area has paid seating and a free-standing area.
Those under the age of 18 can use a seat in the viewing area free of charge for the first 200 people.
