Presented at the recent Manila FAME Exhibition last October 2015, Miguel Aquilizan creates statues inspired by Japanese vintage and second-hand antiques found in junk shops in the Philippines, drawing on the island culture of the former country and elegance of the latter and poking fun at the way old items can be rebranded as expensive vintage by adding accessories to them.

I find them so fascinating and captivating. Those geisha dolls eyes seems speaking to me, very proud of who they are during the exhibition.

Check his other creations at The Drawing Room Gallery located at Bldg. C Karrivin Plaza
2316 Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Magallanes, Makati City 1231 Philippines.
