Why Everyone is Going Gaga with Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Hello girlfriends!

Are you also obsessed with K-beauty just like me?

Ohh! Hello there! High Five!
I forgot when did I specifically start liking (oh nope obsessing!) K-beauty. Maybe when I was in high school – my years where I started watching Korean drama, and I’ve noticed how flawless their skin are, both male and female in all ages. I couldn’t help but become sooooo effin curious! And as I grew up and started appreciating more about beauty and skincare, I become more obsessed, hahaha.

Back then, I’m just a simple girl who just being contented watching them on television, and just write notes of whatever I’ve learned from – language, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, skincare, culture, etc.

Back then I’m still a thriving student, which means I have no means to gain access to those K-beauty products that I want… hahaha… I literally have those frowning faces coz I can’t afford it – asking is from my parents is not an option, nor my priority.

And then I promised myself, that someday my favorite K-beauty products will be MINE!

Fast forward – I’m here sitting in front of my computer, typing and diligently editing photos of some K-beauty products that I’ve purchased personally! Yey!

I always believe in the RIGHT TIMING {wink}

*****

So just a few days ago, I was browsing doing my online research for the latest K-beauty products, and I got lost somewhere (yeah you can lost on the internet, trust me) when I stumbled upon this Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint.

The moment I scan its description, I knew that I must have it – even just one (1) for my personal satisfaction!

So I started to scout online, hunting for this wine lip tint that is already available here in Manila, or someone who resells it. Good thing I found this angel (yup I call her angel coz I’ve been searching for this lip tint for hours) who sells this baby!

What is Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint?

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Chateau Labiotte, (or Labiotte for short) is the latest K-beauty cosmetics based in Seoul, Korea. They have a wide range of beauty products starting my make-up palettes, foundations, skincare products, anti-aging products, and also lipstick lines. They are all made of natural products that are suited for Asian skin type.

Labiotte Wine Lip Tint doesn’t have wine, okay!

The company included “wine” to its name because of its packaging concept, which looks like a wine sampler, just like those small complimentary wines that you can get from hotels.

I find it so cute and elegant!

Chateau Labiotte sounds like French but this is born and breed from Korea!

Asian beauty companies, especially based in Korea are fans of creating products and naming it after sometimes French or Italian, to make it more appealing, giving a high standard (just on its name per se) and also to easily attached Western and European customers, who are also fans of K-beauty.
It all works on clothing brands, restaurants, bakeries, etc. They want to be seen as one of the elites!

Hahahahahahah!

Sounds silly, but I tell you it fucking works. And whatever works in the business is GOOD!

Why everyone is obsessing about Labiotte Wine Lip tint?

Labiotte is a long-wearing tint that dyes the lips with a bold yet delicate color that resembles high-quality wine while it also moisturizes the lips.

As you could see, Labiotte wine lip tints are packaged in a wine-inspired packaging, to make it more high class, but surprisingly this lip tint is quite cheap :D

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Since I don’t want to be feeling overwhelmed with this (or ended up regretting it for some reason), I’ve purchased the mini-size from my angel, which gladly I did.

I’ve got myself the mini wine lip tint in Rose Coral (CR01) having it only 3grams, and comes with a cute box.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

The textures feel smooth and very easy to apply. It doesn’t have a taste nor scent and has a long-wearing effect. At first, when you apply, you’ll notice the bold pigmentation. But allow it to dry and it becomes lighter, making your lips looks plumper – which is another reason we are obsessing this!

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

In Asia, having a plumper lip is a sign of youthfulness. Making you more kissable and attractive, LOL

It’s true and a lot of guys can attest to that. You see, most people nowadays are more visual so we have to present ourselves in a more visual and attractive way.

Labiotte wine lip tint doesn’t make my lips dry and another thing is, it gives a gradient effective when it dries!

When you twist off that neck of the bottle, it reveals the attached applicator with a slanted-foot tip. I find this applicator much better compared to rounded ones, because this makes the tint easier to apply, and minimizes the smudging.

The bottle per se is made of plastic, not glass, just like your complimentary mine wine. It is very lightweight actually and easy to store in your pocket, or in your handbag or purse because it is not bulky at all.

“I KNOW NEKO… BUT I NEED TO BRING IT WITH ME!”

Labiotte wine lip tint comes in six (6) shades: RD01 Shiraz Red, RD02 Nebbiolo Red, RD03 Merlot Burgundy, OR01 Chardonnay Orange, CR01 Rose Coral, and PK01 Blush Pink.

You can also get Chateau Labiotte wine lip tint in FULL SIZE with 7grams.

Remember what I’ve said about the gradient effect?

Since I don’t have the other shades, here are some photo-swatch courtesy from Labiotte Korea.

Noticed that gradient effect.. isn’t it soo lovely and gorgeous?

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

I like the shade of Rose coral because it comes in a peachy coral that looks my lips so yummy to bite, LOL. I find it more simple yet elegant, and perfect for everyday wear! Though this shade doesn’t last long on my lips, I remember reapplying after 4 hours (maybe because I ate a lot during that time, lol), however, I think it’s okay. I don’t expect that much from a lip tint. But I guess the other shades especially those in red hues will last longer. Some even say it last on their lips for more than 8 hours and so. It still depends on your skin lip type. Not all are the same. :D

Where can you buy Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint?

If you are located in Seoul, they have this newly opened beauty booth at AK Plaza and in Lotte Department Store in Seoul Korea.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Isn’t it gorgeous! Ohh a HUGE SHOUTOUT for LABIOTTE COSMETICS, please please have a store here in Manila!

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Here in the Philippines, they still don’t have a physical store or any beauty kiosk, but you can get it through online sellers. I got mine from my angel, hahaha. The price for mini size costs around Php295 to 350pesos (approx. US$6.00 to US$7.00) and for a full size up to 600pesos (approx. US$12.00), depends on your online seller.

BEWARE OF IMITATION!

While writing and doing some research, I’ve noticed that there are circulating some imitations of Labiotte wine lip tint, check this out!

Chateau Labiotte Wine Liptint review

Apparently, these imitations look similar to the original Labiotte wine lip tint, because of the same packaging, same layout of labels, but of course different names, and being sold for a veeeeeerrryyy low price from 70pesos to 150pesos.

So if you are planning to buy the real Chateau Labiotte, please note that these are ships from Korea, so only buy to well-trusted sellers online.

Wait, how about its shelf-life? Does it last longer?

Apparently, all fluid-type lipstick and lip tint have a shorter lifespan compared to usual lipsticks. For lip tints, it is more recommended that you store them in a cool place (if you have a fridge then you can store it there), to make it last a bit longer.

Just make sure that when you store Labiotte Wine Lip Tints inside your fridge (or in any place you want to stash) see to it that your husband or your boyfriend wouldn’t mistake it as complimentary wine, because that will be a very embarrassing and funny situation. Hahahaha!

And if you have the mini sizes, make sure that you store it away from your kids, coz they might think it's your new nail polish ;D

Oh, just a recent scoop!

A few days ago, Hollywood celeb Drew Barrymore and her team were spotted in SM Makati Beauty Store conducting their brand trip. Drew Barrymore also launched her own skincare and beauty line Flower Beauty, and apparently, she and her team are here in Asia and doing their research about Asian beauty trends. Hhhmmmm I think she is planning to open her first-ever store here in Asia. She visited aside Manila, she and her team also visited Hong Kong and Seoul!

She also like and got intrigued about our obsession with a lip tint, check this out!

After testing and using my mini Chateau Labiotte wine lip tint for days, I’m now tempting to purchase the other shades! I’m obsessing again.
