Pikachu OutBreak 2019 in Yokohama

Pikachu OutBreak 2019 at Yokohama
Pika! Pika!

It's happening again this summer in the Yokohama Minato Mirai area!

Celebrating its 6th year, more than 2,000 Pikachus of “Pocket Monster” fame will be popping up all over Yokohama for the various shows and performances during a whole week in August, from August 6 to 12, 2019.

This year, Pikachus will be jacking the Minato Miria area at night time! There'll be new performances using the latest LED technology, water, and more.

"Pikachu's Marching" and "Eevee's Marching", which were popular last year, will be performed to boost the whole event.

Also, one of the fun things is that photogenic Pokemon decorations are all over the area and it is fun to take photo with them. Taking photos with your friends and family, and make great memory!

  2. LOL! I remember the Furry Party in Chicago after seeing your photos. It must be "cuddly" seeing all these furry mascots romping around the city. Although I was never a fan of Pokemon, however. Still, it might be an interesting event for visitors in Yokohama.

  5. My boys love Pokemon a lot and whole of their childhood got engaged in buying up Pikachu toys and bags. They will surely love this outbreak. If possible I will try to visit Yokohama during August.
