I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like the spring season. The flowers start to bloom, withered trees start to grow, and birds together with many insects are much happier.
Despite all this beauty that surrounds us, still, here I am at home lounging with my laptop and telling you how spring is awesome even though I have to face the fact that I can’t enjoy spring just like how we enjoy it pre-pandemic.
But we try our best to stay sane and stay as normal as possible.
And in my case, that includes keeping busy at home, continuously educating online, learning new crafts, enjoying dressing-up with my recent gifts from Femme Luxe Finery, enjoying the household chores, and basically trying to take every opportunity to see the brighter side of all of these happenings recently.
Remember this STAY HOME shirt? I like it a lot that I picked another one in the pink shade for this spring!
I love wearing a comfortable
T-shirt even though most of the time I am in my dresses. But whenever we go for our regular walks, a T-shirt is always a good idea! But sometimes I must wear a jumper on top of it especially when the Victorian weather suddenly goes nuts.
What else I have been doing recently?
By the time I was wearing this comfy Grey Loungewear Tracksuit Set, I just finished sorting things at home including my walk-in closet. When we moved into this big house, I initially thought about the amount of time I will spend cleaning them, but guess what – it wasn’t that hard and I managed to devise my plan and time on how to do all these chores.
This well-established front garden is giving me all the delight! This is my centerstage!
… or maybe the empty Woolies aisle for my quick outdoor OOTD.
I may look like channeling Baby Spice (or maybe Ginger Spice but I’m not red-headed!) but in reality, I was having these quick OOTD photos before we head to Bunnings and search for new fruit-bearing trees to add in my yard.
This Rust Ribbed Pocket Detail
Loungewear Set looks amazingly comfortable and surprisingly well fitted on my torso despite its featured cropped-top. The pants have this illusion of pockets on both sides, but that was it… just an illusion, lol. The fabric used is nice and but you need to wear additional leggings underneath in case the warmth isn’t enough.

Okay back to my plantita mode…
I’m thinking of growing them in a huge pot (in case we moved to a new house again, hence I can easily bring them with me), and here are my options:
Pome fruit – attractive and utterly delicious, apples and pears deserve a place in the garden. Most will need a pollinating partner though, so maybe I’ll look for grafted forms or smaller growing trees since my space is limited.
Citrus – Apparently, every Aussie backyard needs at least one citrus tree (we have it here which needs cultivating). They will grow in most areas, although some can be frost-sensitive.
Peach – The perfect summer snack, or the smooth-skinned variety called nectarine (they are basically the same, except peach has fuzz). Grows in cool-to-cold climates.
Pomegranate – I might need a little patience with this small-growing tree as it can take up to five or six years to produce fruits, but the wait will be worth it! Grows in moist warm areas.
Cherry – A Christmas icon, with its glossy dark-red fruit and sweet flesh. They need cold winters for the fruit to form, so it’s best suited to warm and cool areas.
Olive – it is a gorgeous, long-living tree that’s loved for its decorative qualities as much as its fruit. Ideal for warm temperate and cool to cold areas, although severe frosts can damage fruits.
Banana – well who hates bananas?! Although not a tree, this tall-growing herb produces masses of delicious fruit in warm, subtropical, and tropical climates.
Mango – the quintessential summer fruit, which grows into a large branching tree. I’ll look for a dwarf version.
Papaya – I don’t need to wait long for the fruit of papaya trees! They usually bear fruit within the first 12months and grows in warm, frost-free climates. Best for my Dada’s chicken tinola!
And yes, we are still required to wear a mask, enough reason why I made heaps of it.
So many choices, so limited space I have. But it would be awesome to have them all!
Who says you cannot wear all black in spring?
Apparently, you can but choose the right fabric.
This Black Ribbed Crop Top Straight Leg Loungewear Set is one of the nice loungewear set that I enjoyed recently, especially the black cropped top because of its massive sleeve. I like the drama it gives me just like those drama women from RHOMelbourne.

I just finished watching the first season of Real Housewives of Melbourne (circa 2014) just for educational purposes only and see what does the Melbournian women do (apparently I heard so much bitching in most of its episodes but surprisingly entertaining). I learned about other suburban places in Melbourne I haven’t heard of before, and now I am interested to have a drive around the area, like in Toorak (of course with my driver Dada!).
Even I am at home, I tend to dress up a bit and add a little fanciness just to light up the mood. I can’t remember the last occasion I wore my high-heeled boots because you can’t wear them in the streets of Warragul. For the sake of this fancy OOT photo, I wore these boots, and I tell you that my legs and thighs are shaking!
Flat shoes and low-heels platforms are my newest comfort, after all, I am a Tita in the countryside.
I’m having a few days of break from my DIY-shenanigans, and I can’t wait to share with you my creations soon.
